I don't know where this Passenger/Matt thread is going (I have never watched past Season 4, so this is all new for me, too), but so far I have to say I'm quite intrigued by it. A lot of that is because Zach is, IMO, doing an *excellent* job of playing two very different characters in one series. I can actually see when the Passenger takes over, and there's no trace of Matt. Stelena or Delena? For me, either, neither, I don't care. I never shipped Stelena, and Delena just makes me shrug with indifference. Now I have to confess, I am *not* a romantic! I'm not ace, but the whole "epic romance" aspect doesn't ring my bells, LOL, and I don't like most romantic subplots, especially when it has little or nothing to do with the actual show. With TVD, the romance is definitely meant to be a part of it, and I can accept that, even if I'm not into it. I knew it would be part of the show going in, so that's okay. I have to say I was very much invested in the Bonnie/Jeremy relationship even though I'm not a romantic by nature. I felt they had amazing chemistry that broke through my barriers. Same with Caroline/Tyler and even the almost-triangle with Klaus. Not feeling her with Jesse yet, though I like what I've seen of his character so far; that's a beautiful face I don't mind seeing onscreen more! I think the primary reason I don't ship Delena is because honestly? I miss the old, dangerous Damon pre-Elena. He's a little sappy for me now. On the other hand, as much as I didn't like the mortal Elena character, I'm finding myself quite liking the vampire Elena. So that is a happy, unexpected twist for me! I'm really liking Elena a lot more.

I agree season 5 wasn’t the best but I till liked it. I feel like they where trying to find their footing again after ending the original vampires storyline. As regards to the originals I encourage u to watch it, its amazing. Dare I say better than TVD lol

Bonnie's memorial scene is done so well specially when Elena gets the feathers its reminiscent of S1 when Bonnie tells Elena that she is a witch she shows the same to Elena with these feathers it's such a beautiful memory of their friendship. Next few episodes are good mid-season it again goes a bit downhill but then the ending 3 episodes are amazing. Season 6 is a banger with some really beautiful and interesting stories and moments.

S5 is okay i dont like it that much, my personal favorite is S6 its damm good cant wait for you to get to it. Just a request if you can make 2 TVD episodes a week if possible i don't watch The Originals so for me its only 1 TVD ep a week haha but totally on you, if not now then probably after a while when you can.

If Elena would have kissed Stefan here i would have lost it, its cheating like come on? It should be Damon making Stefan remember stuff and all why elena? He is his brother. Though i liked the Stelena scenes and the music but that intimate moment pissed me off.
