These feel to me like what I imagine an emotionally immature person's idea of "sad" would be. A lot of the things that make me the most sad can often be pretty small and simple, mundane even; little things that just feel tragic and human. Most of these are just so over the top and outlandish, almost like they're trying to shock you more than necessarily invoke sadness.
