Amazing as always! The parasocial aspect is interesting but I think (and you mention this) that this kind of behaviour is not great in personal relationships either – obviously you want to be better, and your friends to be better, but if people treat their friends like they treat online creators those friendships might be pretty miserable.

This has always made me feel icky about online left-leaning communities. I feel like we should all have more empathy for each other and remember that racism, sexism, homophobia, and all the other hierarchies that hold us down are systematic, and we can't place the burden of tearing them down on individual creators. Media criticism is a Good Thing, but we can't act like it reveals moral failings on the part of the creator. It feels like you have more to say on the subject, are you planning on a follow-up of some kind? (By the way, is that a black eye or is it the lighting? I hope you're okay!)
