I'm still making final edits to ensure that the public version video doesn't get copyright restricted or demonetized for its content, but I wanted to share the early version with you guys right now. Hopefully the public version won't take too long to make, but I still wanted you to have access to it now. The aim is for this video to be accessible both to Buffy fans and non-Buffy fans. This is a piece of art I have a LOT of passion for and I hope that shines through.

Yes! Love S6. I get why fans at the time weren't ready for the critique of toxic fan culture aspect since I think there wasn't a broad awareness of toxic fan culture until the 2010s. However, I don't get why people don't appreciate the darker themes and poignant exploration of depression. Buffy begging Tara to tell her that she came back wrong because it's easier than admitting to her mistakes is one of the most devastating scenes I've seen in all of fiction. I do agree it's not a perfect season though. I miss Giles like crazy and everything you said about how awful the magic as drugs metaphor is a lot better phrased than my version which is just me saying "jeez, this sucks" over and over until Xander says he loves Willow at which point I briefly switch over to "awww, that's nice."
