It looks like I had it set to 1 time for month. I don't remember setting it so maybe it was the default? I upped it to 3 times per month.

You can set a limit in patreon! If your limit is set to $10 a month and Todd posts 3,000 videos in a single day you'll still only be charged $10 for the entire month.

I didn't get charged. I want to say I feel a bit nervous about the per video model. I'm happy to support the channel and I love every time you make a new video....but I nearly over drafted last month. Times are tough. It's mildly anxiety inducing not knowing how much Patreon will take out each month. I'm not saying you would suddenly upload 100 videos at a time but hypothetically, what would happen?

I got the itemized bill and it did not show up. My Patreon still says /video; I subscribed on web (and personal note: I hate that us web people/people who care about getting one bill so we can appropriately budget Patreon have to suffer because of this). The people saying that Patreon is changing the subscription system forgot that that video should have been an October charge so it still should have shown up. I remember you accidentally forgot to charge for a creation on two previous occasions; maybe that happened again?

It looks like it may be part of Patreon having to eliminate per video billing to stay on the IOS app. although creators were supposed to have until Nov 2025 to switch, It looks as if you billed for all videos first of the month, you automatically got switched to monthly subscription. https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/8779192853261-Subscription-Billing-FAQ This is affecting a lot of my creators who are having to figure out a work around.

I wasn't. Poparena on Youtube mentioned Patreon will no longer support the per creation/video billing model - the changes were supposed to go into effect around now, so I don't know if that's what's happened.

Even on the request tier I wasn't charged even though that's monthly rather than per video. It even says in my membership settings that the next payment is due on the first of this month.
