I'm heading out of town again in a couple days, so I wanted to get this online before I left. Looks like I'm going to pull it off! This is a fast and fun video to celebrate hitting 200k subs. It's missing an ending right now, which I've written and will incorporate tomorrow when I record final audio. Proper video next month!

(I will say that as an experience of <em>not</em> pausing to read the text, one second is a pretty good pacing, so, yeah)

I do wish the info cards for each deleted scene were longer? One second feels like a little bit of a tight window to hit pause and read the text. Also, I don't feel like the right person to raise this because it's something I've only recently had brought up to me, but there's been some pushback against the use of the word "tribalism" to refer to us-over-them-ism from indigenous people - as they have pointed out, "tribe" has a specific technical meaning when it comes to nations of those people, and using a term for a marginalized group as a (mostly-)negative has splash damage.

I am really glad for this video, because I really appreciate these little additions. The Doom one actually gets at why I had to nope out of watching a friend stream Hotline Miami 2, and why I will never play either Hotline Miami game: because the only way I could engage was to laugh at the murderousness, and I wasn't comfortable with making that my reaction.
