Alpha 3.0 Release!
🕑 Added 2018-09-17 06:04:43 +0000 UTC It's finally here! Alpha 3.0!As mentioned in the previous post, this update brings with it graphical overhauls to almost every existing date as well as brand new dates for Blue Fast and Charity. All the main has a date!
There is also now an inventory system and several different items to obtain!
Thank you so much everyone for helping to make this happen, now go forth and explore Alpha 3.0!
Note: Controls are now displayed in the settings. H toggles the dialogue box. X is now a fast-forward button for dialogue.

everytime I try to start up the game it crashes, no matter the version and the web player is depressingly slow. How do I fix this?

There is no limit to the number of days currently, but the encounters with each of the main 6 ponies is largely the extent of the current content.
