Update: Things Are Weird
🕑 Added 2020-01-21 15:08:43 +0000 UTCHey team, I wanna get ahead of things, so here's an update: I'm not sure what the status is on this month's video(s).
My plans for January have been disrupted by health crises. I've been to Urgent Care twice in the past two weeks. Just so you know: I'm fine. The first thing seems to have been a weird, passing bug possibly exacerbated by an ear infection, and the second thing was a case of "you didn't take the antibiotics we gave you on an empty stomach, did you?" I can't eat anything but saltines and white bread for a few days, but I'm otherwise perfectly healthy.
As you can imagine, this has disrupted my productivity.
There's still a week and a half til the end of the month and I'm a decent way into this month's work, but I have a tendency towards over-optimism, and I'd rather say "there's a chance things won't come together" and then deliver than say "I'll get you something by the end of the month" and blow it. Things should be fine [tempting fate] provided nothing else goes wrong [/tempting fate], and maybe I'll at least get you some rough cuts, but we're gonna see how things play out.
I know the last 12 months have been a long string of delays and cancellations, and I hate to set up the possibility of another, but my guts had other plans this month. I'll keep you posted.

Oh no! You take care of yourself first man! Being on sick leave doesn‘t mean your work waits for you and you need to catch up on all of it once you‘re better, it means you can’t do the expected work in that time and once you‘re better, you just continue your normal work. It‘s that way in a 9-to-5 (at least a responsible one); don‘t treat yourself any worse just because you‘re your own boss. If anything, treat yourself better and allow yourself to actually fully heal before you‘re expected back at your desk.

FOUR WEEKS. Every decent country in the world gives their workers at least four weeks off a year. You've used, what, three days? Five? of that? Honey cut yourself some slack.
