November Update: Exiting Quarantine

Sorry for the lateness of this update. I've been out of quarantine for almost two weeks now, and I'm getting back into the swing of my various obligations, but I'm not moving at my fastest. By this time, my symptoms are pretty much cleared up. My stamina has taken a hit - when I'm active, I run out of steam a lot faster than I did before, but it's improving day by day. I can go for walks, I can cook meals, I can go to the grocery store. Life is going back to... well, not normal, things haven't been normal since March. But they're going back to functional.
I've jumped around between work projects a bit, doing some research here and some writing there, but have been trying to ease back into being properly productive. This week I'm attempting to tackle more stuff, not trying to pull any long work days but giving myself several small, achievable goals every day so there's work happening on the regular. I've had a CO-VID written and recorded for about a month, and a script for the next Protagony finished since the beginning of lockdown, so the next big step is sitting down at the editing station.
It's hard to gauge how fast I can work right now, but I'm feeling well enough that not working makes me antsy and disgruntled, so it's definitely time to start trying again. My hope is to have the next (and likely final) CO-VID done this month, and kick off the new year with a return to The Alt-Right Playbook and Protagony. But we're gonna take things at the pace we can manage.
For anyone who's been worried: I've made it through the coronavirus largely unscathed. Several members of my household got sick, though one managed not to catch it. No one in our extended pods caught it, thank goodness. And, considering how bad this can be for some folks, it seems we all got comparatively mild cases.
That said: coronavirus is not fun and I highly recommend not getting it. For most of the time I was sick, it felt like a mild cold save for the body aches, but then, two days before I was supposed to get out of quarantine, my symptoms came back with a vengeance, and I spent the next 36 hours with fever, chills, head and body aches, brain fog, and extreme fatigue. Fortunately that passed, and after a couple of days I was back on the mend. But it was a pretty unhappy couple days, and it extended my quarantine .
But I'm doing okay now! And I'm enjoying the bits of work I've managed, and I'm sincerely excited to be getting back to editing, even if I have to pace myself.
With any luck, we'll have a proper video release and a proper update by the end of the month. I'm certainly not going anywhere for Christmas this year. I hope you like what I've got in store, and I hope you can extend your patience a bit longer while I get myself back up to speed.

Hey, no fair, you stole what I was going to say! :) Ian, it's way more important to me that you are able to create than meet some arbitrary idea of productivity. The world is a better place because of your videos. So, listen to your body and proceed at a pace that doesn't hurt. We will wait.

Ian, you do great work my patreon pledge is to support -you-, not just to 'make more videos happen'. Whether or not you're able to produce something within a given timeframe is just not important, especially when it's for health reasons of ANY kind - and covid sounds like a really brutal one. I suspect most of your patreons feel pretty similarly, too and are very glad you've made it through what must also have been a pretty scary experience.
