“No,” Mimosa said, shaking her head, a faint smile lingering in her lips.
“No?” Nero asked, tilting her head in confusion.
“In order for this to work you can't be a mistress. None of us can” Mimosa said, lifting up a finger.
‘What the hell is actually happening?’ Stephen wondered as he looked between Nero and Mimosa.
Mimosa then turned towards Stephen, “We actually never did get confirmation from you did we? I was already planning everything without asking you what your decision on the matter was. Sorry about that…” Mimosa apologized sincerely.
Stephen made a hand sign causing time to stop all around.
“...”
“I panicked…” Stephen sighed and realized what he truly did. He took a deep breath and thought this through, ‘What the hell is going on with my life man… When I reincarnated I was the happiest because I was finally away from those bastards. Never in a million years did I think I would be building a goddamn harem’
Stephen rocked side to side in a contemplative manner, ‘It's not just something I can say yes to without really thinking this through…’
Stephen rubbed his eye simply out of exasperation.
After a bit Stephen returned the time back to normal,
“So what do you think?” Mimosa inquired.
“Before I can say anything more I have to ask, are you sure you want to do this? I wouldn't want you to regret this later on in life” Stephen asked with a serious expression.
Mimosa looked down with a faint smile, “You might think of me as weak for saying this but I really wouldn't want to hurt someone close to me… It's just something I refuse to do”
Mimosa then looked up towards Stephen and looked him right his blue eyes and with a large radiant grin and her forest colored eyes burning with determination as she said, “With this no one will be hurt and we could all he happily together”
Stephen stared wide-eyed looking at her wide smile as she closed her eyes and looked away from Mimosa, when Mimosa opened her eyes she tilted her head in confusion. She looked towards Nero and saw her smiling and motioned towards him with her head.
Mimosa leaned towards the side and saw that Stephen was covering the bottom of his face with the back of his hand as he blushed, ‘Why… Why the hell did she look so beautiful, ugh, I have to stop blushing this so pathetic’ Stephen said, making his ears red now out of embarrassment.
Mimosa only had a teasing smirk which she suppressed.
After Stephen calmed down, he took a deep breath and shook his head, “I don't think you're weak… In fact I think you're the opposite, you're one of the most selfless people I know. It's one of the things I admire and like most about you, I still remember how during the Dungeon raid you didn't hesitate to use your body as a shield to protect Noelle when she was injured when the dungeon was collapsing… When I saw that, that's when I wanted to get to know you more, wanted to know the person that was chosen as my fiance”
Mimosa looked down, smiling bashfully, until she saw Stephen reach his hand for hers, when she looked back up he was holding her hands with a serious expression, “Although I'm agreeing to this plan, that doesn't mean you should be throwing away your own happiness and desires away just to please other people”
Mimosa was taken aback, her eyes were suddenly widened, until she heard Stephen say, “I want you to promise me something”
“Eh?”
“I want you to promise me that if there ever comes a time where you have to choose to either be selfless or selfish, that you would pick to be selfish. There's is absolutely nothing wrong with being selfish and choosing your own happiness, no matter what anyone tells you otherwise”
Mimosa felt her heart skip a beat and butterflies flutter in her stomach as she looked at the intensity in Stephen’s eyes.
Mimosa looked down and began to chuckle.
Stephen looked towards Nero, causing her to shrug as if asking, ‘Why are you asking me?’
They then heard her mumble something, Stephen looked back at her with a confused expression.
“Hm?” Stephen Hummed.
“I said you're a liar…” She said with a small pout, although her eyes sparkled with joy.
“Wha–? What did I lie about?” Stephen asked as he doesn't really remember lying about anything.
“Earlier you said you weren't a good person” She said with a chuckle, “But that's clearly a lie, no bad person ever admits that they're a bad person, and no bad person would ever make me promise them to choose my own happiness”
Mimosa then went and tackled Stephen down the bed taking him by surprise. She stood over him with her hands between Stephen’s head as he laid in the bed.
“What are you doing?” Stephen asked, looking up towards Mimosa with a raised brow, her beautiful long orange hair cascading down creating a veil around their faces.
Mimosa looked down with a mischievous grin, “I'm promising to be selfish and choosing my own happiness” She said before going down and locking lips with Stephen.
Stephen was a bit taken aback before he closed his eyes and savored her honey flavor lips, his hand raised as he cupped her face as the two began to kiss.
As they distanced themselves for a bit they both smiled and chuckled before they were immediately both attacked and pecked at by Nero. Who had to repossess her body to save herself as they had accidentally thrown her sleeping body when Mimosa tackled Stephen.
After a bit of apologizing Nero was back in her astral form looking at them with a deadpan expression.
Mimosa snapped her fingers as she realized, “You know, we've never really introduced ourselves to one another, have we? And since we're planning to share Stephen and be together with him then I think it would be better if we get to know each other and become friends” She said with a beautiful friendly smile.
Mimosa extended her hand towards Secre, “My name is Mimosa Vermillion, I hope we can get along well in the future”
“Secre Swallowtail” Secre said, hovering her hand over Mimosa’s. Both shook their hands since they couldn't really touch each other due to her astral form.
As they ‘shook’ hands they couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous they looked.
“Now that introductions are out of the way, let's get to know each other” Mimosa cheerfully.
Stephen only looked at them with a smile and didn't interrupt them.

Stephen was walking through the Mirror Dimension, with every step he took the entire space was shifting, moving around as if the entire Dimension was taking them to their. destination.
On Stephen’s head Nero’s bird form rested while her eyes closed. Secre's astral form ‘walking’ besides him with her hands behind her back.
As she looked around at the ever shifting plane she became curious, “Why didn't you ask her?”
“Hm? Ask her what?” Stephen asked.
“Don't play dumb with me, I know you're smarter than you let on. Why didn't you ask Mimosa who it was that she was doing this for. For who the entire harem idea was for? We both know she wasn't talking about me” Secre scoffed.
Stephen closed his eyes and let out a sigh, “Because it would be a redundant question to ask… I already know who she was referring to. No matter how much I try to pretend to be oblivious to it or act as if I don't know, hoping that she would get over it. Mimosa was obviously talking about Noelle”

Brother, if the story has quality and can work out a sensible reasonable harem, why would you not just choose to ignore the harem part and enjoy the story?? It baffles me how people get so irritated for something that literally doesn't matter because it's just a fiction, just enjoy the ride and story telling and everyone will be happy

Yeah I was just still hold on to hope that it will not be a harem. Personally I really don’t like harem. At least the MHA one is not a harem, 🙌🙏 otherwise I have to drop that one too.

I know it’s important for the development of the story, but we have had 3 chapters in a row completely dedicated to romance and his developing harem. It’s getting boring.

I highly doubt the Manga is going to end with the harem route, we're definitely getting a scene of Mimosa crying her eyes out because Noelle was chosen as the main girl and it's going to absolutely break me i just know it.

All this mimosa is doing is making me realise how absolutely repressed og mimosa is, dude barely speaks and when she does she barely gets sentences out depending on the person and even if she thinks about the harem route with asta with her personality she'd never voice it
