Big Expansion Pack Release:

The big release of course was the Fairy Forest pack, which I was hoping to have finished at the beginning of the month, but instead it was one of the later releases. I think it was worth the wait-- the reception has been positive, seems like people really enjoy this one!
As I said in the release thread, that pack will remain available for all patrons for another month or two and then I will make it locked behind a higher tier. Even then, the Fairy Forest pack as a whole will remain a patreon exclusive, since it was created as a reward for a major Patreon goal.

Anyways, now the reward expansion has been released, it's time to look ahead to the next big project. I've been talking about it for a long time now, and this past week I've begun taking a more serious look at the next evolution for character sprite styles. You can look forward to some progress threads in the upcoming month.
In the meantime, the usual releases will continue as always. I'll be back soon with the request thread for the next month. See you then.

Hoping for more spells animation at some point.

Yes, the new sprites will not have shadows built-in, the shadows will be a separate image that can be layered underneath them. They're going to be more versatile in general for this kind of use, vs the originals which were designed with mostly rpgmaker in mind.
