I'm really excited to share this with you! We've been slowly building up this expansion pack for nearly half a year, so it feels great to finally have this one completed!
Most patrons have seen the early-release beta that I shared at the turn of the year. Now the final set has been put together and it's published on itch today!

Build your own characters! The TIME ELEMENTS series is all about modular pieces: so you can customize your own RPG sprites. Swap outfits, hairstyles, armor, weapons, and more. The characters are fully animated: take your gameplay to the next level with four-directional action combat! And all with a high-quality pixel art style like the your favorite RPG classics.
The first Time Elements Character Expansion pack has over 50 new modular pieces, so you can create more characters than you will need to fill an entire game world!

(Note: If you're used to these packs as RPGMaker DLC, it will be released that way in the near future-- but that version goes through the publisher, so I'm not certain about the exact release date. Stay tuned!)

So... what's next?
As I mentioned in a recent post, I think that I'm going to put together a small mini-pack with some basic farm animals in a new neutral style that will work well with these Elements sprites.
But my plan for that pack is very small-- it won't be anywhere near as big as the TF Animals sets. It will be 5 or 6 farm animals and maybe a few cats and dogs-- just enough to be useful animal life for most towns and villages.
Now that this expansion is released, and with Jubilee out on consoles, I think I'm finally done with all of that... hopefully this animals thing will only take me a couple of weeks to slap together.
Then, the real full-sized pack for Elements will be... well, right now I have a few different ideas. We'll get to all of them, but I'm just not sure which makes sense to do first... I think we'll have to revisit that topic once we get these farm animals out of the way.

As the description says, these characters are perfect for "four-directional action combat". Is there a thread anywhere about the best plug-ins to use to get a game like this up and running with RPG Maker? I'm not on the unofficial Discord, and the link I found had expired, but would join there if anyone could add me. I could set up an RPG Maker forum post otherwise, if there isn't one already. I don't have much time to dedicate to such a game yet, as it'd be a huge undertaking and I'm finishing some regular RPGs at the moment, but would love to make a Zelda-like at some point further down the line, that's one of my game-making dreams.

I think that's actually the armor boots pants with the green color so it looks like orc shorts 😂

Awesome release! Loving the new options. Is there supposed to be a male pair of shorts (as pictured with the orc in preview)? Couldn't find it.

Some errors with some pieces were cleaned up, minor things fixed, generator had a bug that was fixed, stuff like that. No significant content additions.

So, weird, but the generator isn't actually registering these new additions. They're in the correct folders, but they aren't showing up.

Congrats on the release! I'm thinking for the next full sized packs for elements would be Fire and Ice! or Lava and Snow :P
