I Am Iron Man (MHA) Chapter 290: The Plan

“The Iron Legion are doing their best to handle the situation at hand, boss,” Friday reported. Across Tony’s HUD, dozens of holo-screens flickered to life — each showing a different corner of the world. Iron Legion units were fighting tornadoes in the Philippines, reinforcing collapsing bridges in Europe, and containing wildfires along the American coast.
“Good work,” Tony said, eyes darting between the feeds. “While they’ve got the disasters covered, it’s time I put my plan into action.”
“Do you seriously have a plan to defeat Ultron, boss?” Friday asked, her normally confident tone laced with uncertainty. “From what we’ve seen, he’s physically indestructible.”
Tony’s mouth curved into a small grin. “He might not realize it, but he already gave us the answer on how to destroy him for good.” His eyes glinted, “Call Melissa to my location — now.”
He disengaged his repulsors and drifted back toward the summer training camp. Below, the air was thick with smoke and ozone. Students were sprawled on the ground, catching their breath while Baymax tended to the wounded, his soft mechanical voice murmuring reassurances.
“Tony!” Momo called out as she landed beside him, concern etched across her face. “What happened? Is it over?”
Tony shook his head, retracting his helmet. “No,” he said, voice grim. “Far from it.”
Aizawa approached, his usual stoic expression darkened by fatigue. “What’s the situation?”
“Ultron’s everywhere,” Tony began, projecting several holograms in the air. “He is overwhelming the earth with Natural Disasters — earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions — he’s behind them. He’s spreading himself across the globe, hijacking the electromagnetic field and using them to destabilize the planet.”
The students stared at the screens in horror. The reality of the threat was sinking in — this wasn’t just another villain; it was an extinction-level problem.
Aizawa frowned deeply. “If Ultron’s plan is global destruction, why target you specifically? Why stab you through the heart?”
Tony smirked faintly. “Because he knows I’m the only one who can stop him.”
Kirishima grinned despite the tension. “You already have a plan, don’t you?”
Denki clenched his fists, sparks dancing between his fingertips. “Then let’s hear it! How do we stop him?”
A flash of light streaked through the sky — Melissa Shield touched down beside them. “That’s what I’d like to know,” she said, crossing her arms. “How do you plan to destroy something that can’t be destroyed?”
Tony turned toward her, a knowing smirk forming on his face. “Didn’t Ultron already tell us how?”
Melissa blinked. “By becoming immortal?”
“No, genius,” Tony said, groaning as if the answer were obvious. “From the inside. Ultron’s plan was to outlast us — to infect the world and exhaust it to death. But what if we flip that idea on him?”
Ojiro stepped forward, tail twitching. “Even if that made sense… he’s a machine. How do you apply that logic to him?”
Momo touched her chin thoughtfully. “You plan to create a virus, don’t you?”
“Not exactly,” Tony said with a sly grin. “I don’t plan to create a virus — I plan to become it.”
Everyone stared at him like he had just lost his mind.
“Eh?” Denki said, confused. “What do you mean become it?”
Tony raised two fingers. “Two words: Quantum Realm.”
Melissa’s eyes widened instantly as the realization hit her. “Of course! You’re planning to shrink us down to microscopic size — travel into Ultron’s core systems, invade his digital pathways from the inside, and delete his code manually!”
Tony snapped his fingers and pointed at her. “Bingo.”
Sero blinked, utterly lost. “...Okay, now you’re just talking nonsense.”
“Quantum Realm?” Aizawa repeated, arms crossed. “What exactly is that?”
“I remember reading about this,” Momo said quickly, excitement lighting up her eyes. “It’s a theoretical concept from quantum physics…” She launched into an explanation, tracing diagrams in the air — quantum particles, space-time fluctuations, and the potential for subatomic travel.
Most of the group stared blankly.
Momo sighed and rubbed her temples. “The short version is that if you shrink down far enough, you enter an entirely different dimension — a microscopic world where time, space, and physics behave differently. In theory, it could let us bypass normal reality.”
Denki nodded like he understood. “Ohhh, why didn’t you just say that in the first place?”
Momo stared at him, one eye twitching. “I did.”
“Not so theoretical,” Melissa corrected with a proud grin. “Since Tony and I already personally explored the Quantum Realm. And trust me — it’s very, very real.”
Momo turned to them, eyes wide with shock — and a little betrayal. “You… you two explored the Quantum Realm? And didn’t invite me?” she asked softly.
Melissa’s confidence faltered instantly. “Sorry…” she said, rubbing the back of her neck. “It was kind of… a spur-of-the-moment thing.”
“I also want to explore the Quantum Realm…” Momo muttered.
The others couldn’t help but smirk.
Ragdoll tilted her head, curiosity gleaming in her eyes. “Would you seriously be able to do it?” she asked, glancing between Tony and Melissa. “You’re talking about shrinking small enough to enter the internet! That sounds impossible!”
Tony folded his arms, letting his helmet retract again so they could all see the smug grin on his face. “In theory, it’s possible,” he began. “But we’re not just entering the internet. I doubt Ultron’s really connected to it anymore. He’s evolved past that. We’ll be diving directly into Ultron’s internal network — his digital nervous system.”
The camp grew quiet. Even Aizawa’s usual monotone took on a hint of gravity. “What do you need us to do?” he asked simply.
Tony looked around the group before his gaze settled on Momo. “Not much. The key to this whole plan lies with you.”
“Me?” Momo asked, pointing to herself in surprise.
“Yes, you,” Tony confirmed. “Once Melissa and I shrink down and become part of the virus, we’ll have no physical way to enter Ultron on our own. That’s where you come in. It’ll be your job to make sure Ultron gets infected — to make sure we get inside.”
His tone softened but his stare stayed sharp. “Ultron is lethal — an apocalyptic-class threat. I don’t trust anyone but you to get it done.”
“Ouch, man…” Kirishima muttered under his breath.
“Yeah, that’s some serious favoritism,” Denki mumbled, scratching his head.
Momo smiled despite herself, warmth flickering through her chest. The trust in Tony’s eyes wasn’t something she took lightly. “You can count on me,” she said, straightening her posture. “I’ll make sure you get in safely.”
Tiger of the Wild, Wild Pussycats crossed his arms. “And how exactly is this virus supposed to work?” he asked, skeptical but listening.
Tony raised a glowing projection of the virus model. “It’s a physical liquid-based nanovirus,” he explained. “Once Ultron comes into contact with it, it’ll integrate into his circuitry and corrupt his system from within. When we’re inside, we’ll handle the rest — wipe out his code at the source.”
Aizawa nodded slowly. “Makes sense. How long until it’s ready?”
Tony’s smirk returned. “Few minutes. Half an hour if I take my time.”
Everyone stared at him.
Tony chuckled. “Dual thought processing,” he explained casually, tapping the side of his head. “I split my consciousness — one thread flew here to brief you, while the other’s been formulating the virus design and running quantum probability equations in the background.”
Satou blinked. “Okay, seriously — how is that not a quirk?”
No one had an answer.
With a flick of his wrist, Tony summoned a halo of hard-light holograms that surrounded him, each screen running lines of alien code, structural simulations, and chemical breakdowns. The camp filled with the faint hum of his suit as the light from the displays reflected in his eyes.
“Here,” Tony said, generating another cluster of data and handing it off to Melissa. “You take this set. We’ll run dual integration cycles — one biological, one synthetic. We don’t know when Ultron will strike again, so I’ll need all the help I can get.”
Melissa caught the projection and immediately began manipulating the data, her fingers moving in perfect sync with Tony’s. The two worked back to back, surrounded by swirling holograms and streams of light that painted the scorched clearing in shifting shades of blue and gold.
The students could only watch in awe — two geniuses standing shoulder to shoulder, building something impossible in real time.
Slowly the holographic virus model began to take form — a glowing, swirling lattice of nanotech and data patterns.

Yup but its going to be more than that, it's going to be Class 1A against Ultron, they will try and create an opening for momo before Tony and Melissa deal with Ultron from the inside

I guess, you'll divide the fight into two parts, in the first you'll show Momo giving the virus (Tony and Melissa) to Ultron, and in the second you'll show Melissa and Tony destroying it from the inside, right?
