Felicia groaned softly as she lifted her head, silver locks tumbling around her face in a messy halo of bedhair. Still half-asleep, she ruffled her hair with one lazy hand, blinking through the haze of lingering dreams.
Beneath her, the warmth of the bed coaxed her to stay still. She became aware of the solid weight beneath her cheek—Peter’s arm, stretched out beneath her like a makeshift pillow. Following the trail of his arm, her gaze softened when it landed on him. Peter lay sprawled across the mattress, chest rising and falling in an easy rhythm.
Felicia’s lips curved into a small, sleepy smile, she shifted closer, letting her head slide onto his chest. The steady beat of his heart pulsed softly against her ear, a rhythm she found comfort in every single time. She tucked herself into the curve of his body, wrapping his arm tighter around her waist as her fingers traced idle, teasing paths along the ridges of his abs.
“Why is it,” she murmured, voice husky from sleep as she pressed a feather-light kiss to his chest, “that we can never keep our hands off each other?”
Peter’s eyes fluttered open, a crooked grin spreading across his face as he tightened his hold on her. “You tell me, you little vixen,” he said, his voice warm and teasing. He pulled her closer until their legs tangled naturally beneath the sheets, neither of them making any effort to untangle. “I suppose we’re just… very sexually compatible.”
Felicia rolled her eyes, though the soft laugh that escaped her gave away her amusement. “You’re sexually compatible with everyone, Parker.”
“Well, there are… Variations of sexual compatibility,” Peter countered with mock seriousness, as if preparing a lecture. “It’s all about the dynamics. With Gwen, it’s very animalistic and rough,” Peter continued undeterred, his grin widening. “Which is funny, considering how poised and serious she usually acts. It’s like we’re trying to devour each other. With MJ, it’s this mix of tender and rough—a kind of emotional wrestling match where the feelings are as intense as the penetration. And with you…” His voice softened, taking on an almost thoughtful quality. “With you, it’s about satisfaction. About making sure the person you love is happy. Every time.”
Felicia propped herself up on one elbow, a single brow arched in playful disbelief. “Okay, sex guru,” she drawled, “I don’t need to hear about your compatibility charts with the others when it’s just the two of us in bed.”
Peter offering her a sheepish grin. “Sorry. Got a little carried away there.”
“That’s one way to put it.”
Before he could defend himself further, Felicia reached out and gently turned his face toward hers, her fingertips soft against his cheek. “You know,” she said, voice lowering, “that last part almost sounded like a love confession…”
She rested her cheek against her palm, her eyes searching his as she continued to caress the sharp lines of his jaw. With her other hand, she swept a stray lock of hair off his forehead, the gesture slow and intimate. “You got something to tell me, Tiger?”
Peter’s eyes flicked briefly downward. For a fleeting second, he caught sight of her bare chest, the sheets slipping just enough to reveal tempting curves—but he forced himself to look back up, meeting her gaze instead. His smile was faint but earnest. “You’re really going to make me say it out loud?”
“Yes,” Felicia whispered, leaning closer until her hair fell like a curtain around them, isolating them from the rest of the world. “I want to hear you say it. Unless…” A teasing spark lit her eyes. “Unless you’re too ashamed to admit it.”
Peter reached up, brushing a few strands of silver from her face and holding her gently. “As if I could ever be ashamed of my feelings for you.”
The warmth in his expression softened his features, making his already handsome face almost unfairly striking. He tilted his head slightly, eyes locked with hers, and spoke with quiet certainty.
“In case you didn’t know,” he said, each word deliberate, “I love you, Felicia Hardy.”
Felicia froze for half a heartbeat, her breath catching as her cheeks flushed a sudden, heated pink. “Okay, wait…” she stammered, her composure cracking into a bashful laugh. “Using my full name is cheating…”
Peter’s grin turned sly. “What? I had to make sure my message got to the right Felicia. Wouldn’t want there to be any confusion.”
“You are so unfair, Parker,” she murmured, her nose scrunching in a way that was almost impossibly adorable.
Lowering her head, Felicia brushed her nose against his in a soft nuzzle, their breaths mingling in the small space between them. “You always know exactly what to say,” she whispered, her voice a mix of frustration, fondness, and something far deeper.
Peter chuckled low in his throat and pulled her even closer, his hand tracing gentle circles against her back.
Their faces hovered only inches apart, breaths mingling in the quiet of the room. Felicia’s silver hair formed a soft curtain around them as she looked into Peter’s eyes and whispered, almost like a plea, “I want to hear you say it again.”
“I love you,” Peter murmured, his voice low and secret, as if he were sharing something meant for her ears alone.
Their lips met in a slow, lingering kiss. Felicia pulled back just enough to whisper against his mouth, “Again.”
“I love you,” he said once more, earning himself another tender kiss.
“Again,” Felicia breathed, her voice trembling with a mix of need and delight.
Peter smiled against her lips. “I’ll say it as many times as you need,” he whispered, kissing her once more.
“Forever, if I have to.”
“I like the sound of forever,” Felicia murmured, melting against him as his strong arms wrapped securely around her.
“I love you, Felicia,” Peter said again, his hand sliding gently to cradle the back of her head, holding her close.
A quiet hum of happiness vibrated in Felicia’s throat as their lips stayed locked in another deep kiss, the warmth of his embrace grounding her in the moment.
Eventually she shifted, sliding gracefully until she was seated on his lap, the blanket still draped loosely around them. Propping her palms on his chest, she looked down at him with a dazzling grin. “And I love you, Peter Benjamin Parker,” she declared, pointing a playful finger at his face.
Peter’s eyes widened and a vivid blush swept from his ears across his cheeks and down his neck. He turned his head with a groan, trying—and failing—to hide the spreading color.
Felicia’s laughter bubbled out, light and unrestrained. She dove forward, wrapping her arms around his neck. “Ahhh! You’re driving me crazy, Parker! What are you doing to me?”
Their laughter filled the room as they tumbled back onto the mattress in a tangle of arms and legs, finally coming to rest with Peter braced above her. Felicia’s arms looped around his shoulders as she gazed up at the ceiling—only to spot the telltale claw marks and thin strands of webbing scattered across her walls.
Her eyes widened in sudden panic. “Uh… you are going to help me fix my walls, right? If my mom sees this, I’m doomed.”
Peter chuckled, glancing around at the damage. “Looks like someone needs to have her claws clipped.”
Felicia’s cheeks flamed as she pouted. “I couldn’t help it! I was just… a little overstimulated. They popped out on their own!”
Still laughing, Peter pressed a quick kiss to her cheek. “Don’t worry. I’ll have the spider-bots patch everything up before anyone notices.”
Felicia narrowed her eyes playfully. “You mean you don’t feel the slightest shame making your daughter clean up our mess?”
“Ugh, don’t word it like that,” Peter groaned, rubbing the back of his neck. “I like to think of them as independent workers for my own peace of mind.”
Felicia laughed again, the sound warm and infectious, as they finally disentangled and began gathering their clothes, the quiet intimacy of the morning lingering like a pleasant echo.
