It's tomorrow and we're back with a fresh round of details, this time woven around new artworks that will make its way into the game with the Henosis update!
For the uninitiated, Doppel is VoidBound's lead artist, and has been with the project from Day 1. Up until early this year he exclusively handled everything from background landscapes to character art. Recently however, he decided to expand his skill set and started dabbling in sprite generation, making Vas his very first gameplay creation.

Not only that, but his work in the Henosis patch extends to map design and texture improvement as well.

To give you a to-the-point insight on what's new, we've prepared a short bullet point list:
- 313 new general images which include, but aren't limited to, events, standing art and miscellaneous scenarios.
- 65 new naughty images with a total of 9 new H scenes.
- 350 parallax images, divided into ground, above and shadow layers of the normal gameplay maps and dungeons.
- 700 improved light textures, bringing life to various locales with near realistic glow and shine. Note that these effects aren't limited to Henosis only but extend to normal maps, dungeons and other interior zones as well!
- 10 new styles of enemies.
- 61 new playable maps.
- 60 new NPCs.
- 6 new story critical unique NPCs.
Now we understand that to some, the numbers above might seem outlandish at a glance but, believe us, they're legit. We know cause we counted! The amount of work done on smaller zones quickly adds up and one of the key reasons it took so much time to get this city setup as planned.
Exhausting as it was however, we're thrilled as to how it turned out and we can't wait for you to enjoy it all first hand in the near future. If you enjoy Doppel's art style, be sure to check out his other works over at his Pixiv account as well! For now though, we'll wrap it up here and will see you in the next post tomorrow!
Kind Regards,
Cursed-Atelier Team
