Are you ready to dip you fingers, toes and other fun extremities into our latest patch, space-farers? Cause here comes VoidBound 0.5.5- fresh out of Alpha testing and ready to re-introduce Caly's tale with a crisp new take!

So, what is 0.5.5 update about?
Like we mentioned earlier, the highlight of this update is the revamped presentation of how Caly's journey unfolds. How her day goes from running a regular maintenance gig, to witnessing an alien invasion, to getting her internals rearranged in the name of science! But that is just one side of the content. We also extended the lore of the Slime Chronicles with- you know what, it's time for some Change Logs!
Change Logs:
- Complete intro sequence revamp, filing down VN elements and shifting focus onto game-play!
So... what's the plan?!
We're putting the RPG back in the front seat and handing control over to player. Well, technically the scenario serves as a tutorial so player autonomy is still a bit on the limited side but, there is far more role-play involved now than just reading a book!
- Re-imagined Tank Scene scenario.
"Safe" is a strong word there, Missy.
Alongside the story elements, the older CGs received a revamp as well! New visual experience all around!
- New Bad End for Gen as part of the Slime Quest Saga
Man is a lot of things but patient, he is not.
We tackled not only the past, but the future as well. Slime Chronicles is a side quest series that morphs into a bunch of bad end branches should Caly mess up big time, and mess up she did. This time, Gen has a few plans of his own for her.
- Over 100 new CGs woven around three brand new H scenes!
Not much to say here but, discover away Caly's new sexcapades young space cadet~
- Five new maps.
The Urtu space ship is expansive. Sadly you don't get to sight see much when you are being hunted. Still five maps stand between you and flying freedom!
- New Tutorial Scripting with a brand new enemy.
See that guy up on the header pic? Yep, he is now your new tutorial master and he is a Master Pervert!
- New grab and restrain pose deployed by the enemy "Bio Weapon".
Master Pervert has his own set of skills that he will use to subdue Caly. Hot tip: Fight him if you must, but winning shouldn't be your priority.
- New Lore and Datapads added to the world!
Fun additions to pad(pun intended) VoidBound's lore. Some will give vague solutions to a predicament, some backstories that just add flavor and then there will be some that'll be downright useless. Just like real life.
- Two new characters.
Vas's trusted lackeys, Hemma and Fou make their debut. They're about as friendly as mercenaries can be- that is if they can profit off you being alive, they will not point their guns at you. Lovely, eh?
And a bunch of other additions like:
- Updated Ray Casting on light textures.
- 60 new parallax files.
- 140 new light textures.
- Four new BGM tracks.
- Various plugin fixes.
- Bugs and Grammatical fixes.
Developer Notes & Instructions:
1) Simply download and unzip the file and double click Game.exe to play the game.
2) If you're confused about the .7z extension, simply install the freeware 7zip software, right click on the downloaded file and hit "Extract here"(If you are on Win11, click "Show more Options" first before finding the "Extract here" command)
4) Saves are backward compatible with the original Henosis Overhaul patch should you decide to import your saves. Copy the save folder from the original and paste it into this one. Continue playing as normal from where you last left off.
