Joke aside, some comments can really hurt (especially if it's about intimate things), even if it was just intended as a tease, it's important to make sure the other person also sees it that way! Poor Clover, still carrying that around years later...

I really love Clover's expressions in this page <3 And ugh that was bad behavior her ex had! It also shows that there's balance in communication: communication is important, but it's not necessary to say everything that pops into one's head about one's partner's perceived quirks (whether they're actually quirky or not), lest one risk saying stuff that would make the partner feel self conscious! (Also i missed this and the next page somehow! Oops! Glad I'm catching up!)

Oohh!!! Aww Clover!! (I don't know how I missed this page!!) Awwww. I have no personal stories to share about this in detail, but I cringe thinking about some of the stupid, thoughtless things I've said to partners when I was in my early twenties, that I hope they've forgotten about or didn't take personally. Similar to this.
