Homelander is a vain narcissist who is sociopathic. My interpretation was that he does have SOME humanity left, evident in his "love" for Ryan (although even that its narcissism -- he sees Ryan as a reflection on himself, wants to use Ryan as a second chance for himself to correct his own upbringing). But when pitted against the "love" of the people, he chose the people, which is the only "love" he's ever known. His only weakness so far seems to be his need to feel loved by as many people as possible. Even more interestingly, the love is only one way. He has nothing but contempt for humans. You can see when Stormfront tries to teach Ryan racism, Homelander is weirded out for a second because he isn't a racist. He sees no difference in humans, who are all beneath him. It's probably like your gf arguing over which color of dog is better.

I believe it's Geralt's emblem of the White Wolf, from the Witcher series.

It's possible to be both a piece of shit and be shat on.

Great episode and great reactions. Especially you Nikki, you killed it. And Nikki, was that a House Stark hoodie you had on? That animal, direwolf, was very ferocious looking, and since it was right next to the thumbnail where the episode was showing, that white head was very distracting.

She is a supe. I would imagine she might be able to regenerate her limbs. Look at Komiko, she had her neck broken and basically fixed it herself. When you are a superhero anything is possible.

Maybe also with a Vader helmet haha

How is The Deep "still being a piece of shit." The Deep has been consistently shit on the entire series, more than any other character.

Funny to see the Deep still being a piece of shit, and still having life continue to piss on him :D Also, that Stormfront beatdown was pure awesome. Did not see that final twist coming! Now, Homelander is still absolutely a monster, a villain and an asshole, but does anyone else also, at the same time, kind of feel sorry for him a little bit? This episode revealed that all he really wants is to be loved, probably because Vaught completely fucked up his childhood. He never really had anyone who loved him as a kid. The entire reason he fell for Stormfront was because she played the Love card on him and he completely bought it. At the end of the day, Homelander is a man-child who's never known love of any kind in a real way, and it's left him all kinds of fucked up. Also, poor Butcher...Karl Urban knocked it out of the park in this episode. Also love how Frenchie and Kimiko work together and play off each other.

I'm really happy with the finale. i couldnt have asked for a better ending to the season. I was not expecting to shed tears. I dont think it's the last we will see of Stormfront. Im guessing next season she will have prosthetics and an eye patch.

Yep, I think they just did :)

Jesus...what if they Darth Vader her? Edit - I posted this comment before seeing Steve mention it during the reaction vid. I derped.

Hey, I don't think this is a spoiler or anything as season 3 is probably at least 1,5 years away - Aya Cash (Stormfront) has been contracted for season 3. So we will see her, in some way or another.
