yeah this type of story feels more "grounded" to reality, and therefore that eeriness is just consuming. And in different forms.

Appreciate the feedback but we’d have to change the entire setup in order to see everything clearly. We survived hill house with this setup and I’m confident it’ll be ok in the long run.

EXACTLY STEVEN!! IT's not a "scare fest" --- Psychological Gothic. Woven in a drama. They want you to try and figure it out. :)

the set designers do such a great job. they are so talented. the interiors for both hill house and Bly manor are beautifully made.

You may need to turn some of your lights off, I understand they are on for filming.... but the scene where you saw some movement, that movement was not at all subtle to a regular viewer, certainly not like a background ghost....and its not the only scene in the show like that.... so you may have trouble seeing things you are actually meant to see if you don't adjust your lighting

As far as the houses go, I'm assuming its like Hill House and its on a sound stage. In Hill House, the house and the funeral home were a single large set.
