Losing Beocca was one of the most gut wrenching deaths. Uhtred has lost so much. I feel it when Athelflaed asks him what happened at Bebbanburg and he breaks down.

Ugh this episode is so good but so sad. Beocca is such an amazing character I was dreading this episode tbh I usually skip it when I rewatch TLK because it makes me so sad.

Damn! I thought losing Alfred was hard. Beoca!! I love that Aetheflaed could tell that something was wrong with Uhtred. And when he couldn't even speak Beoca's name & broke down; it broke me too. But now, he has a purpose again. It might not be the goal, but it's a step. And as is my favorite saying, from my favorite character, from my favorite book "One step, then the next, gets you where you're going."

And what an emotional episode. Finan being the MVP of it, by his multiple discussions with Uhtred, making Uhtred jr. understand his father better. Speasking to Uhtred's men without Uhtred knowing and keeping their morale up. Best friend ever. Cried so many times during this episode. Beocca will be missed.
