I’m starting this Last Kingdom journey with ya’ll but I’ve never seen Vikings. I’m new to this part of history and I’m finding it fascinating. This show is telling the story beautifully.

Yeh this show does a great job connecting you with its characters. Probably my favourite aspect of the show is the characters and their relationships amongst each other.

OK was able to watch! Keen eye of noticing how Alfred thinks! I can’t wait for you to get to know Alfred and Uhtred’s layered relationship! Uhtred is definitely green. A little bit like how Jon Snow was during the first season when he got the wall. Super young. Green around the ears. Hard noggn’ — And yes they use the word “hump” in the show instead of like sex or something else. And I love the scene where he’s talking about saving Wessex, but that it will take men willing to spill blood for the dream of England —- it cuts to gorgeous shot of Uhtred on a hillI.

Glad you're back! I love the relationships & humor in this show as well. The actor who portrays Alfred is amazing, the whole series is really well cast.
