This isn't true. King Jaehaerys' daughter Maegelle was a septa that nursed children with greyscale. She eventually contracted it and died from it.

The meaning of the intro design: it's a family "tree" showing the royal Targaryen bloodline. It begins in and flows thru a model of Old Valyria (first symbol) then flows to each king & that king's kids. It begins with Aegon the Conqueror and splits between his sister wives & sons and on thru the next 100ish years. You see Old King Jahaerys (Ep. 1) & his sister queen's blood combine & then go in 9 directions at one point - they had 9 kids. Each gear that fills with blood represents a Targaryen royal who's already dead, which is why the blood runs through King Viserys's symbol but doesn't fill it, but his wife Queen Aemma's does. The final symbol is for Rhaenyra, matching the necklace Daemon gave her. In the background you can see the bloodline splitting off into other directions, with a symbol for the Velaryons, Daemon, and now the Hightowers thru Alicent. As with the original map adding locations, this one will likely add more symbol gears as marriages & births happen & more will fill as characters die.

I don't know what the fungus was that was growing on Drahar but I hope that Daemon doesn't get it, considering he was covered in Drahar's goo, guts and blood. 🤢🤮
