I feel like Clay’s motive is really simple, to undermine Jax as MC President. Violence rampant in Charming, which the MC has always kept relatively in check, would reflect really poorly on Jax and his leadership. So Clay hopes the club will remove Jax as President and vote him back in.

It was this episode that I realized I loved Nero after how well he got along with Jax. Also the song at the end is one of my favorites they have used it was a fitting song.

Justified is the third in the FX group of three that was spawned from The Shield. The Shield, Sons, and Justified. So many of the actors and behind the scenes personnel are shared on all three shows. Plus Timothy Olyphant is amazing as US Marshall Raylin Givens. Will go over to the discord at some point.

I don't know if you realize it or not, but Otto (Kirt Sutter) is actually the creator and producer of SOA, and is married to Gemma (Katey Sagal) IRL. H e did such a good job!

Another great show is Prison Break if you haven't watched that one yet. 2005 series. I am a bit apprehensive as that ended similar to Dexter's first series run and I want you to enjoy the show the entire run.

The way Steven loves strategy and evaluating character trust or value … you just know he would eat up the Peaky Blinders. I think about that every time he goes on a deep dive assessments of various plan options (the Shelby’s would be proud) 😂 … and I love it 👍

The only way to keep this thing going long term is to always be flexable and change things. When we are done with SoA, we will probably add another 'all time great' show to the lineup.

Number of episodes were always the reason why we passed on this show in the past. Because of our schedule and how we watch shows, we just knew it was going to take a long time to get through. One thing I will always do is evaluate what we are doing and make chances when necessary. It just made sense to make a shift in the strategy.

What's great about these two is the things he gets wrong when predicting, she's spot on about and when she's off the mark... he's usually on the right track. Perfect combo, they truly do complete one another lol

You guys had me dying when you're talking about how different you are in relating to strangers; Steven trusts no one while Nikki trusts everyone. My parents were the mirror images of that dynamic; my mom would invite everyone over immediately for a big party while my dad was like "Hey, let's get to know them first. Opie is such a badass. I'm glad he pulled through for Jax and I agree with you two, Jax will be safer with Opie on the inside, but still, as you pointed out in the intro, Pope always gets what he wants. I also gotta say that besides Opie, and maybe Bobby, Chibs is one of Jax's closest friends and has stood by him with every decision that needed to be made. Not that he's his yes man, because he's smart and wise enough to point out Jax's mistakes or what he perceives as mistakes. That's genuine loyalty. Its also safe to say Tig has largely abandoned his loyalty to Clay and has instead put his trust in Jax. Minus Juice, I think the club largely resents Clay now.
