Again I know this is old now, but the weapon he bought and used to hit the driver with is a "slapjack" it's basically a steel or iron plate wrapped in leather. Back in the older days police used to carry them as a way of self defense. But are no longer used by law enforcement and are illegal in most states.

Reacher should've dealt with the punk with the crowbar far easier, there were plenty of opportunities for him to get him in a choke or armbar in close quarters. It's my one gripe with the show.

I second this. They are nothing alike, and only have a military backstory in common, but the show is pretty good. Krasinski is awesome... and the movie 13 Hours is another good ride with him in a military capacity. He's good in both.

Its interesting to me because the actor that plays Picard also played Admiral Souther on the Expanse who was a good guy.

I can confirm that you guys called out Picard early on. I know this because it was the moment I started to be suspicious of him too. I didn't want him to be one of the bad guys, but it was too convenient. I still don't think he's the head of the operation (of course), but he's definitely a mole. He still could be an undercover mole, tho. There is still that. I think the clerk at the army outlet store gave Reacher a look when he asked for the BlackJack, because those things are used for hand-to-hand combat with people, and not used to hunt animals. He knew at that moment that Reacher wasn't hunting deer. lol This show is so freakin' good. I do have to add, Reacher is making me a little uncomfortable with the way he kills. It's badass, but it's so methodical, that you often feel that he no longer feels anything when he kills someone, even if they are the bad guys.
