I think it’s the other way around. I was told Kevin who has only been working a month per season, which forces everyone schedule to rush and work around. To get him in and out. He asked to only work a week. And it’s impossible to shoot 8 eps of his work in a week. Diva. And nobody can drag a set like that. Better to end it. Now he will only shoot an ending if he approves of the plot

Maybe it’s seeing it from another angle. It’s not all about Jax. And he doesn’t get that. He does not see what’s inside her. She was there at Able’s birth. Performed his surgery, saved his life, cared for months, now she’s moved in and has been his mom figure. She had given him everything he’s wanted of her. For her to do that is showing that’s how deep her pain is as he abandoned her in that room. Told her they were done. Woman in that situation, it could break you. Down a bottle of pills. That’s severe pain.

There is this. Then there is black screen time. Then, there is some issue, that i can't figure out. When some seasons/shows have constant +30 sec/1min. 30 sec speed ahead. I tried it with different services, tried with different devices, and even with VPN. Still, some shows/seasons have this issue, but you still can find the copy that line up with reactors. Weird. For example, this season has it. Surprisingly, i've found different service that will line up with them. But it doesn't have subtitles, and i can't understand the irish accent on this show. And i'm kinda worrying :)

In my opinion it wasn't so much that he needed to do something violet more that he needed to be more motivated one way or another when they was dealing with the boat situation he was just their instead of acting like it was a lead on his kid especially since it's widely believed his dad killed himself after losing his other son

I’ve looked it up luckily it’s only this episode this season that will have that issue apart from the normal black screen extra pauses! The Tv version had a few cut scenes, happens again once in season 4 and 5. For some reason Hulu have the Tv version not the DVD/ Blu Ray. There’s a website called like movie censorship it shows differences in movie versions and some Tv shows!

aww thank you :) some days its saddening, but most days they are so fun. we had one resident lose his cellphone so he and i went on a hunt for it. then i noticed something weighing his shirt down. was in his shirt pocket the whole time! 🤣 he just went “ooh, you found it!” haha :)

Great reaction, N&S!. SOA is definitely one of those shows where after you watch a couple of seasons, it makes you afraid to get attached to any other character. You just never know what's going to happen!

re: Hale's death - they didn't want to kill him off, but the actor asked off the show. He was both acting and screenwriting, and he wanted to focus on screenwriting full time. Sucks to lose him, but hard to say he made the wrong call. His name is Taylor Sheridan. You might recognize the name, as since he left SOA he has written: - Wind River - Sicario (1 & 2) - Hell or High Water - Yellowstone (and it's prequels) - Tulsa King - Mayor of Kingstown ...yeah. He has been amazingly successful. Yellowstone alone! So RIP Hale, but kudos to that dude.

I watch on DVD and I think you're right because those seem to be the cut scenes. That is terrible because there is so much coming that might be cut and I feel important to the storyline. We'll see what is left in.

GO NIKKI GO! 😆 When Nikki said she be breaking shit, I was like wait for it, and boom there goes Tara. I'm shaking my head too Nikki with that "what's up Reapers" 🙄😆. Yes, the DVD has more scenes that didn't make it on the show like Tig bringing a small paper bag with a muffin and says "it's low fat" or fat free muffin or something. Then Gemma drops the muffin back in the bag and gives Tig a look saying "You trying to say something?" 😆 They also make a Peggy Married With Children reference about Gemma to dye her hair red and I think Gemma says something like I rather shave my head Instead🤣 The Legend himself Hal Holbrook as Gemma's dad. I saw him in Star Chamber (Nikki and Steven can react to) with Michael Douglas where criminals are getting off the hook for their crime and these people become Judge, Jury, and executioner. Also Uncle Rico himself Jon Gries from Napoleon Dynamite and also Real Genius with Val Kilmer. Kozik is back. He was in episode 12 of season 2. They only showed him for a little bit like they did in this episode. I didn't know they mentioned Filthy Phil and Miles this early on. That was a fucken shock when first watching this episode seeing Hale killed. We really liked Hale. He was a uncorrupted man of the law. He knew how to work to keep the peace with SAMCRO but not be in their pocket and they had respect for him too. I can only imagine what they had in mind if Tayler Sheridan stayed on. This was an emotional one and this is only the first episode of season 3. Also The caretaker lady is Detective Ramirez in The Dark Knight.

Ps. Kurt Sutter does incredible working with actors asking to exit. Taylor, as Hale, wasnt making enough money to support his family. But his death is not in vain. Also it gave us YELLOWSTONE franchise. Lol. 🤠Which they describe similar themes….as SONS on 🐎 horses.

So 💯👏🏼 executed, every detail. Jax in shower with the “son” ring. And the other ring still on John’s headstone. Clay seeing Jax’s deep depression, knowing he has to pull him out. Make a choice. Dead little boy detail, being what thwarts that choice, BRILL. Jax’s brother Thomas who died, John fell deep depression and they’ve mention he never was the same. I cry every time Jax cries. And that shower scene does me in. Charlie Hunnam is so underrated. Great reaction, excited for rest of season!

Yes, they gave half sack his "top rocker"! Which in my opinion was amazing that they did that for him. Happy was originally just supposed to be a "supportive" charcter in the show, and he was such a big hit, that they gave him a bigger role. Also, something I learned yesterday (not a spoiler, no worries), that Clay was originally supposed to be played by Scott Glenn. But apparently after they filmed the pilot, and they took it to the production company to green light it, they said they loved it but wanted someone else to play Clay. I could not imagine anyone but Ron Perlman playing Clay.

As of a few years ago the show had a few tweaks and and has a warning in all episodes that there may be content some people find offensive (mostly jokes on gay people and the occasional white guy saying the n-word) but that could be why

I love this episode. I’m glad it picks up where it does & everyone is still reeling from the events of S2 finale. The music & song choices never miss on this show. I remember being so shocked about Hale, didn’t see it coming at all… I always thought there might be a bit of a love triangle down the ways with Hale/Tara & Jax. They all went to school together so they have a strong history.

I'm watching on Disney+ and for whatever reason the version on Hulu always has longer "black screen" where the commercial cuts would have been I guess. Not a big deal, just have to pause my version for a couple seconds every now and then.

So my copy didn't line up with the one they're watching. Had a scene with gemma and tig prior to the boys going to jax's house and the shower scene. I watch the dvd though. Didn't think the Hulu and home release versions were different as they haven't been up to this point.
