Something I noticed is in an earlier episode Syd was really adamant about not needing help and then in this episode she asks Carmy for help straining her stock. The little details in this show like that make this show so good.

Yes, a pickle slice and mustard are acceptable to put on a Chicago-style hot dog. If you have a Portillo’s in California I recommend it.

No it’s set in present time. I know based on certain things I’ve seen on the show that wasn’t around in the 90s. One example is in the first episode Carmy was on Twitter and it said the year of his tweet on it. A lot of 90s/00s fashion trends are in style right now though so maybe this is why they wear it or just their personal preferences idk.

I swear, the fashion the characters are wearing are from the 90s (or early 2000s). Is that when this show is taking place? I never thought about it until Nikki mentioned it; but the shoes Sugar had on, and the sunglasses & jacket Richie was wearing are throwbacks from a few decades ago. I love Marcus's ability to totally focus. I can be that way too. It's sometimes a gift, and sometimes a curse, if you know what I mean.
