I can't stand people like Beth. Just not my kind of person. With her drama, you have, of course, all the right to lash out or lose it from time to time, but not to that extent. Look at that cold line her father said to Jaime. He needs someone to be evil; she can be evil. With all the "good" traits the show presents him with, accepting that is dark, and I'm not sure we are talking about a psycopath here. Not sure, at least at the moment. But even if Beth is, it is his duty to stop her, but instead he unleashes her here. Lee seemed alright; Jamie is a bit full on himself, but seems alright if you imagine that he had to live with that. Casey is damaged, but a good guy - maybe the best of all of them. I have no idea what baggage he brings from the war, but the killings he did in the show were necessary and okay. Tricky topic, though, because "its only alright to kill people" (let me phrase it this way, for the sake of my point) up to the point you cross a fine line - his father passed that line long time ago, it seems.

I can definitely see where Steven is drawing the comparisons between Kayce and Jax from, i always got that vibe as well. Kayce is being torn between 2 worlds, like Jax with The Club and a normal life with Tara, and Kayce is kinda in the same boat he wants a simple normal life with his wife and kid but is being pulled into The Ranch where theres alot of darkness and illegal activities takes place. Kind of another Hamlet type of situation.
