It’s crazy because back in the day when I watched this as they came out I would interact with other people on a message board about episodes. Everyone shitted and hated these last few seasons. It definitely impacted my opinion of the show. Rewatching now has really changed my opinion on it

My husband and I are rewatching this show because we just love your reactions! Omg, I said the same thing with Jax’s sweatpants!😂🤷🏻‍♀️ As many have said here, Toric’s actor, Donal Logue, had to leave the show because he took on another bigger role on Vikings, which I’m sure paid more money. Too bad though because Toric was suppose to last towards the end of the season going against Tara, something about Tara finding out that he has an affliction of Huntington’s Disease. I was super bummed when they took Filthy Phil out! I’m one of a few that likes his character. I hated Galen offing him and for always going head to head with Jax with the guns. I agree with you guys that I didn’t like where Jax’s character was going this season. Like I mentioned previously, I saw Jax’s actor, Charlie Hunnam, at a comic con recently and told him that I disliked his character the last 2 seasons of SOA and we, including his handler, had a good laugh about it. Charlie’s really cool in person and extremely kind! It’s crazy when Nero said to Gemma he went into business with the Sons “2 months ago” which means it’s when he signed papers with Jax to go into business with Diosa in season 5! The timeline is so short from season 4 to now. As much as I love Tara, this is the season where I didn’t agree with some of the things she does. I’m still Team Tara though. RIP Otto; Sutter played him well. And Gemma is…Gemma. lol

Lol YES Jax and the sweatpants🤭Nik. “It’s not easy being King,” line from S1E1 to Jax, coming to head as he made his first mistake, by taking on the Irish ☘️ Kings, is super Sutter. Also super Sutter…having to write out a character, when actor needs to leave, but managing to make it work logically and organically! Very few writers can do that as much as Kurt has. Killing HIMSELF, giving Otto some victory in taking the life of his r@pist essentially, is so good. Rip Otto. You were unforgettable. And thank you Kurt Sutter for the performance of 6 seasons!

Yeah, weather caused the change in schedule. Kurt explained that he was supposed to have a bigger storyline with Tara. Connecting with the physical challenges Lee was suffering, explaining his reasoning for drug abuse. Donal is amazing, wished we got more of him.

I believe this is when Donal Logue went to Vikings as he agreed to that role. He was supposed to have a much bigger part in the show than this.

I can see why people feel sorry for him because he was always "the silly one" or even innocent but he has done some really bad decisions(like every other character in SOA) and even if it seems like he hasn't had a choice but like Jax did say "we always have choice"

Ratboy is such a legend! "Cold Stone Steve Austin" XD I love Eli so much. Dood is a damn chad. Toric got incredibly cocky by being there during Nero's detainment. Eli knows more than any that he's behind this slaughter. I hate Clay, but I respect how he dismisses Torric's offers. He does genuinely love his club, despite how much of a backstabbing asshole he was. F*** Galen for killing V-Lin and Phil. Poor uncle Phil :( And now their rides are ended. Torric deserved to die. Also... RIP Otto, at long last his misery is over.

he's clearly written to have a level of sympathy... compared to everyone else in this club, he's easy to feel for. everyone sees him as vulnerable and they take advantage and because of the spot he's in, he feels he has no other decisions.

I don't feel bad for Tig. He's the reason Opie got killed and then almost got Jax killed by not letting the Iranian go and killing him instead and then lied to Jax about it.
