Never saw Succession, but all the other shows are good. Shield maybe the odd one out there, but still a good show. Fargo should be entertaining for you as well based on how much you liked other shows. Nonetheless Spartacus was mentioned in the comments - can't see you not reacting to that, based on core shows of your channel.

None of these shows have ever interested me, and that's fine. I might watch the first episode or two as a watch along of whatever is chosen and if need be just wait for the edited yt versions, something I do like will come along in time! I just love the way you two are and how you do it!

It's most definitely a taste thing. The first three episodes I couldn't understand the hype... then gradually I fell into the manner of speaking that each character uses. The brilliance of the acting started to become clear. The sign of a great show is that I still remember all of my fav characters names. Roman Roy was played to perfection by Kieran Culkin... Logan is the perfect a-hole patriarch... Shiv is a capitalist/feminist rolled into one... Kendall is seeking his Father's approval... Greg is the oddball... Connor beats to his own drum and Tom is conflicted between his love for Shiv and his desire for power. All in all, one f-d up family, and very clearly inspired by the Trumps and the Murdochs. When you get into it though, it's absolutely addicting. Also the best one-liners of any show I've ever seen.

Maybe check out Peaky Blinders with this crew! I’ve had multiple friends say it took them ~4 episodes to get into it. But I’ve never heard of anyone watching 4 episodes and not finishing it completely lol … people get sucked into it I think. At least I did :) I was onboard right away though … bc the cinematography, performances, intricate storytelling, etc 👍

My ex wife and I absolutely loved Peaky Blinders. We got divorced after season 2 and I could never bring myself to continue watching. I don’t remember much of it at this point other than it was amazing. I would definitely love to watch that with ya’ll.

Peaky Blinders is legit, but The Shield is a must. As it open the pathway for shows like SOA, Breaking Bad, etc. Before you'd only see these types of shows on HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, etc.

“Peaky Fookin’ Blinders!!!” Was already a somewhat Cillian Murphy fan when started this show based on 28 Days Later and Red Eye and his Nolan appearances but this show solidified it for me. Phenomenal actor surrounded by other phenomenal actors. Great scripts too. Enjoy!

Not that it is, but Mayans is seen as just a weak copy of Sons and people are like I've seen that already. And because SoA never really got into their side of the fight other than just Álvarez. Somebody needs to make a good post Escobar Cartel series. Plenty of real life people and stories to exaggerate and change slightly.

I mean this sincerely. Peaky Blinders has some accents that are almost completely impossible to understand outside of the UK which may mean you will need subtitles. But I know that subtitles can be an issue for Steven so just throwing the warning out there!

Maybe pick 3 shows and do a first episode watch and decide from there. The Shield and I’m in. It will feel familiar to Sons. But a little more rugged at times. Love Succession but it’s not a rewatchable show for me. Mr Robot is good but weird and may not be fun. I tried to watch Peaky Blinders. Couldn’t make it through the first 3 episodes but people love it. I’m sure you guys will pick the right show and have a great time.

Oh man, I was torn between Peaky Blinders and The Shield... and voted for Peaky Blinders :-D Both are great shows. But I think now it would be more fun to do Blinders because it offers more of a difference and freshness because of the setting after SoA compared to Shield. The Shield is closer to SoA in that sense... but it would be dope if you get to The Shield later on.
