Oh for sure, she definitely didn't sign up for this. That's why I think I trust her. She doesn't have to deal with Serah's problems, but she's clearly making an effort, probably because she cares a lot for Keith (which is why he gave her a key to the house). If she were just a regular prostitute, she'd take her free shower and peace out.

I'm getting the opposite vibe. The blackmail comment wasn't a real threat, just a reminder to Serah of the potential trouble she's in if she just ignores the situation and doesn't communicate. The zebra's thought about Keith owing her is about her reluctantly helping Keith's kid with her situation, despite her not signing up to be a parental figure. She's under no obligation to deal with this, but she cares enough for Keith at least try to help. I think her expression in panel 3 shows genuine concern, and not the look of someone with selfish intent. That's my read anyway. I think I trust her, and won't be surprised if she ends up being a dear friend/confidant/mother figure to Serah. Serah missing her mom has come up multiple times, so this could be the resolution to that.

I dont think Zebra lady signed up for dealing with family drama, but I'm concerned with her motives, I don't trust her. We still don't know why she has a key to the house too, which is weirding me out. There's more to her than just being Keith's favorite prostitute... I just hope she keeps her promise to not meddle that she made to Serah on Wednesday, but we have no reason to trust her word... I do not like this situation, putting Zebra lady in the driver's seat. Oh well, genie is out of the bottle now, it ain't going back in. Anyway, I hope y'all have a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year! :)
