As I told you in the last post, I'm putting Westfall on hold for the next version to implement audio into the game, I've been working on it and the results are very promising, just some ambient sounds, sex sounds and moaning, and everything just feels better.
You'll have to wait until the version is released to experience it, but it turned out better than I thought.
Now, one thing that I'm changing in this version is the Brothel, it was a mistake to make it work with normal gold, because now you can earn it pretty easy, making everything related to it very trivial, so I'm going to create a new currency that you can only earn through the missions in the brothel, and that currency is what you'll need to buy everything related to it, like the sex supplies and the gifts for your followers, this way gold can return to be something more manageable.
Another thing that I will change are the stats of enemies in the game, when you play from the beginning, you basically have to sleep after every encounter because I balanced the combat pretty tightly, and that makes the game feel very "clicky", you fight, sleep and then you need to jerk off because your lust bar increases by 50, only to fight again and repeat the same thing. So, I'm lowering the attack of most enemies, so you can fight 2 or 3 before resting, the "bosses" will keep their high stats to make them feel more important, sleeping will only increase your lust by 30, and your mana will regenerate completely after every combat. This should make the game more fluid.
Finally, let's talk about wrestling!
With this version, a new NPC will be implemented in the Weights Room of the Gym, an elf called Ryan, this guy will wrestle with you (only if your character is male) activating a min-game like rock paper scissors, where you'll have to choose where are you going to attack him, in his head, chest or legs, and based on what Ryan chooses, you'll win, tie or lose. The objective of the game is to win 3 times, and based on what part of the body you attacked when you won, you'll get an animated scene with Ryan. Oh! and the singlet you see in the picture is a reward you'll get if you win Ryan in the three possible ways, finishing with his head, chest, and legs.
There are 12 scenes in this mini-game, 6 of them are not pornographic and they will be used when you win/lose one round (these are not animated), and the other 6 are for when you win/lose the game, and as I said, they will be animated, I mean, with your 3D character animated too, BUT it will be just one animation on each scene, they won't be as complex as the 2D-only animations of 3.5.
Experimenting with animations in this version gave me enough confidence to try and make every new scene animated from now on, just a simple animation, but it really feels better when you see the characters moving, AND with sound on top of that. I can't wait to know how you guys feel about it when the version is released.
So, this version started as something small, but as you can see, it won't be that simple xD I'm putting together the Ryan mini-game this week, and next week I'll upload the sex scene preview with the 12 scenes for the jockstraps and slips, have a wonderful week everyone, and enjoy 8.3 in WoW if you are going to play it. The moment I get my hands on the Shadowlands Alpha/Beta client, I'm going to make a special version to add more customization in general, like hairstyles, the new faces for the humans and stuff like that, so it's coming!

I've been thinking about it, and I'll make the quests give 5 gold or something around that, so you can get 15-30 each day. But the "abstract" currency thing, I don't really know if I'll do it, I'll keep thinking about it tho, to see if I can come up with something.

Also, random request: more hairstyles. Personally, I've always wanted to play as a human male but I do not really like the currently available hairstyles. But I do think this is a low-priority thing. Just wanted to mention.

I do have a suggestion about gold and the brothel. I understand your point about brothel making gold trivial. But at the same time, I do think the player should be able to make at least some gold from the brothel. So I suggest something like making some of the clients pay in gold and the others in the new currency, or maybe have every brothel payment be made partially in gold and partially in the new currency. Alternatively, you could even make all brothel payments in the new currency but give players a way to convert the new currency into gold, either at a very low rate or limited to X gold per day. I also suggest making the new currency something special, or even "abstract", like "favors". For example, we could say that Robert is happy because your brothel's patrons are buying his products and making him a lot of money, so he wants to thank you. Every X clients attended to by your followers, you earn one favor, which you can trade for a number of Robert's sex supplies.. But that whole "abstract currency" rant is very secondary when compared to my first suggestion (brothel still gives you some gold). The only reason for my "abstract currency" suggestion is because introducing a secondary currency that's not abstract (like silver, or gems) and is specific to brothel-related products would feel too unrealistic. I mean, I can use these precious gems to buy anal lube but not a sword? And gold can buy me a sword but not anal lube? Makes little sense and it's too much of a suspension of disbelief to me. Either way, thanks a lot for the game! I love how it is turning out to be and I'm particularly happy to know that you're going to focus on m/m content a little more. :D
