Two Minds, One Wand - Chapter Forty Seven
🕑 Added 2023-07-14 18:22:13 +0000 UTCHey guys. It's almost the weekend and time for the new chapter. One of the hardest chapters to write, this one - introducing a new girl into the harem is really tricky, especially such a thorny personality.
When I started this story, one of the key aims was to get away from the faceless obedient slave harem stories that are many and numerous, giving personality to every side character. But with every new member, the complexity becomes larger.
Which results in this, a little harem politics chapter. Large, actually, one of the largest chapters so far, at 13k.
I hope you'll forgive me when I eventually learn to scale them back down to 5/6k, if I can.
I don't name the chapters, but if I did, this one would be called Daphne Digs A Hole.
I hope you enjoy it - I've never had to write a somewhat mean, little racist, somehow still likable protagonist. I wonder if it succeeds?
I'll see you next week where we'll finally push on with past-Harry. While present Harry gets to enjoy his Christmas break, past Harry is about to get serious about horcruxes, Whorecruxes, involving blood and Bones.

Great chapter! Daphne vs Narcissa was great. So far, I see Daphne as being someone who knows exactly what to say to get under someone's skin. Maybe we've had a glimpse of what happens when she's unleashed on the rest of the harem? Maybe the twins can give her an outlet for her cruelty? I can't wait to see Daphne vs Apolline/Fleur.

I don’t think her claiming was shown. Harry did say he changed his mind last chapter and will in fact be claiming her then.

Wait, Daphne hasn't been claimed, right? So she doesn't really know why the girls are so devoted to Harry, and the girls think she knows. Are going to have a comedy of errors?
