Two Minds, One Wand - Chapter Thirty Seven
🕑 Added 2023-05-05 15:54:00 +0000 UTCHi y'all. It's the weekend and here's your chapter. This chapter is...something I really hope lands with you. In terms of pacing and pay-offs, in terms of set up for the next little arc of the story, this chapter is really important to the story.
I'm proud of it so I hope you enjoy it - please let me know if it connects with you! I can feel my writing improving week by week, so hoping to flex it for you more and more over the coming year. On the flip side, the story becomes more complex and harder to write!

Loved this chapter, you really make a concentrated effort to make every battle be as creative and unique as it should be and that’s what makes this story great. The spicy scenes and relationships also help lol. I had a feeling the scene at the end was heading in that direction. But I’m a little confused on why they both immediately thought it would be better for her to die? Was it so Harry could fight without limits? I don’t think the reasoning was conveyed as clearly as it could have been, all I grabbed was that Harry’s “tom” instincts said the best way way to survive/win would be for her to die. Hopefully more is revealed in the next chapter, I’m really looking forward to it!

I'm holding out hope that Harry or Dumbledore can manipulate time to bring her back. Yeah, its too early to kill her off, though I suppose this could force Harry to choose between Susan and Cho.

It's hard to comment on as it's mid-arc and a cliffhanger, even more so as we don't know how far into Harry's story we are or how many arcs remain. This arc has definitely been full of tension to say the least, and the duels and fights have been thrilling, but I don't think any arc where the protagonist is outmanoeuvred at every turn is ever going to be super popular. Of course, the story needs a proper foundation for satisfying conclusions in the future, so it's not a bad thing.

naa Amelie still have a crucial part to play in the story, i hope you can take criticism because if this the end for her then this is bad character development.

NOOOOOOOO!!! I had a feeling she would do that. No, why?? The world needs her. I hope Harry can manipulate the time stream. He can turn the tables. He can think outside the box. That was a good fight, btw. Those propellers haha. Thats what I love about your duels. They arent just fancy beams of light going back and forth like in the movies that a lot fics like to emmulate.
