I'm not sure if it was played elsewhere, but at least in the U.S., it was just a silly schoolkid game haha ✨ The idea is that everyone is playing "The Game", and you win by not thinking about it at all. Every time you remember what "The Game" is, you lose. People can go years without thinking about it -- until they see a phrase like "You just lost The Game" that makes them remember it, and they'll have to start their streak over. Basically it's just a way of trolling each other 🥲🥲
