🕑 Added 2018-02-02 01:17:34 +0000 UTC When the idea for this commission for Slutty Haruka arrived in my inbox, and I read that I would need to design a "phallic gargoyle," I knew this was going to be a fun one.She'll be using this as a cover for her World's Finest Productions series of erotica which you can find at her Tumblr right here.
Despite being the world's biggest living Batman fan, (it's true they sent me a plaque and everything.) I know very little about Batwoman here. I guess I always thought the concept was a little redundant, since we already had Batgirl for the "female Batman" archetype. But she seems like a pretty cool character now that I've looked into her more. I plan on picking up a bunch of new comics before starting TRW, maybe I'll keep an eye out for her on the covers.

Update: According to the client while Batwoman was pasty white in the New 52, they've since toned her down after DC Rebirth. And that's the look she's going for in the story this is representing.

LOL- that's a funny look- riding a gargoyle thing like it's a sybian :). I'm liking the detail you're putting into the "torso" area of women, lately. I first noticed it when you drew that Ariel for me- something about her body tone and the detailing of the ribs and stomach area just made her look SO much more "solid" and lovely than if you'd just left the area largely blank.

God yes. She looks like a VAMPIRE in the comics. I found it very off-putting in terms of her attractiveness. It was a testament to the artist's skill in other elements that I still bought the book for the great drawing, in spite of not finding the main character attractive :).

She DID look awfully pale in the reference pics I was sent. I thought it was just the film-noir lighting style they were using. The client didn't bring up her complexion though, and she had plenty of chances to correct me. Maybe she knows something I don't.

She’s a lot paler in the comics than you made her here. I always wondered why they gave her such a pale complexion. Her skin is literally white.
