As for this scene, it went on a little longer than I planned, (as they nearly always do,) but I was happy to see it seem to go over so well with readers in general. Meanwhile I'm setting up an idea here I'd like to come back to in future pages; even though she no longer has a voice in her head, Casey is still prone to talking to herself. I'm hoping it will convey a bit about how much she misses Switch without me having to spell it out, but time will tell how well I pull that off.

Good question! Casey was always convinced that Switch was real, but I also imagine that as time goes on, she might start to wonder more and more if she was imaginary.

Ohmygod Miss Holt's proportionsssssssssssssssssssssssssss Totally the best part of this, even though it's just a tiny background bit up there. My GOD what a woman! Look at that hip-to-shoulder ratio! I like the "I'm watching you" pose, too- a very good shorthand of that pose, which would normally take most artists 2-3 panels to show. VERY nice to get it to come across in only one.
