In all seriousness I did consider making up the names of the games they're referencing here, as a general theme in TRW is that it all takes place in a separate reality from our own. But in the end I decided that, as an author, I'm a fountain of so much useless video game trivia that it would be a waste not to employ some of it every now and then when my nerds are talking to each other.
Meanwhile a couple of notable cameos at the top of the page here. On the left that's Conosaurus's Zoe hanging out with Kal's character Millie from TRW the Game. Millie especially gives me a sense of worlds colliding, as she's the first character made expressly for the game to show up in the comic (I don't really count the times I hid Isaac in the background of the comic, as in some of those I hadn't even settled on his final look yet.) It makes me excited to connect the game and the comic more in the future.

Yeah i didn't play it either, but i heard it's very good. Pricey also, but i don't have hope about getting the majority of PS game at this point :) Herc's is one of these 2D games that got forgotten because everyone wanted 3D games at the time (also like a lot of Saturn games). It's a shame, because when we look back at this era of gaming we can see than a lot of 3D console games were juste successful for the novelty of it and the 2D games were usually better overall. I'm glad you like this song, i plan to become a film director and make a movie about playstation only to put this music at the end credits :D

I'll do no such thing! XD I've heard Herc's Adventures was good, I just never played it when it was new, and as a collector I haven't gotten my hands on it yet as it's a little on the pricey side. Also that song cracks me up. :D

1st off... kudos for that Omega Boost reference lol. Haven't heard that name in many a moon. I also like both Morgan's and Warren's attire choice... Morgan with the super cute hairband and dress (I think) and Warren rocking the nerd culture motif with the bowtie... definitely fits their characters. Was also curious to see how things were going to go with Bria likely being at the party with Casey, particularly in the case of Warren. Looks like we're about to find out! Again, the buildup in this chapter has been great, to what seems to be a very Morgan heavy next few pages!

Believe it or not Isaac's name was a holdover from a scrapped idea. Instead of just Chloe being obsessed with the 60's, I was going to have her and Raina both be obsessed with the 90's. And the whole family's first and last names would all be amalgamations of the names of 90's pop crooners. In the end I decided it was too much and scaled back, but Isaac and his dad still have the last name Marx, after known mullet-rocker Richard Marx.

Her condition will come up again, though maybe sooner in the game than the comic. Hard to call as of this writing.

haha! We shall see how each character develops; they may be different people, but I'm hoping they end together. Because the next they know, each of them will be 40, divorced, and wondering what if to that long ago high school almost romance....if only....

I dig Morgan’s little smile there. It actually occurs to me this might be the first time EVER that we’ve seen that. She’s very snarky and grouchy otherwise. PS Zoe is gorgeous. Love that musculature. She’s the first time we’ve seen a ripped girl in TRW so far!
