Hope you don't mind my going with a different outfit than the reference I provided this time, her apron look seemed to be a popular request.So in case you haven't heard of it, High School of the Dead is an anime that presents a Japanese take on the American zombie film. Think "what if Night of the Living Dead starred Japanese teenagers," and you're pretty close to what they were aiming for.
To me it almost feels like the outside inspiration gave the writers a perfect excuse to deviate from the common cultural norms (or "obnoxious anime tropes" if you want to put it another way.) Sure, they just traded those in for horror movie tropes, but it still felt refreshing for the medium to me. I don't know, I guess one thing that really stood out to me was that there was no "perfect girl" in the cast. These girls were whiny, selfish, bossy, dumb, and in Saeko's case, sometimes outright psychotic. They were also all horny as fuuuck, which again felt non-standard. I suppose at the time I was seeing a lot of anime about timid teens who were gasping when their hands accidentally touched. Or maybe I was just sick of the old "perceived pervert" trope where every time a guy so much as notices a woman's body she savagely concusses him with a wash bin. Rest assured the only wash bins in this show have horny naked women in them. Overall I'd consider myself a fan, and I hope it gets another season someday.

I do agree some of the mystique has been lost when it comes to zombies. To me I think it's scariest in the stories where there simply is no explanation for the outbreak.

Nice art, at least its not the overly exaggerated eyes rolling back like they're possessed like most artists draw. Ive heard of the anime but never seen it I must admit though, japanese video games like "resident evil" and "house of the dead" has rewrote the zombie concept i.e people are zombies are due to a virus. But the old school western concept has always been about the supernatural i e the dead rising from the grave

I don't blame you for being put off by the first episode. If memory serves that one went out of it's way to be as shocking as possible to set the tone. It was less extreme after that, but not by a lot.

Nice boobs! I notice a more "projected areola" this time around- I don't think I've seen you give a black outline to that area before- it makes it look a bit more 3-D, giving it depth. Multiple sprays/straps of cum is a unique look, too.

Man, I watched the first ep of High School of the Dead, and then I bailed. Like, I dig horror, and I dig boobs, but somehow they put it together and made both things worse.

Definitely great stuff, I'm sad the mangaka passed after the long hiatus especially if you read the manga it's clear they have further adventures coming up and also that bad ass chick the teacher is roomies with decides to stay in Japan to help.

That really was a shame about the author. Here's hoping the anime's cult status gets someone talented to carry it on someday. I could see a new season being awesome if it was in the right hands.

My favorite thing that came out of this show was someone doing the math on how fast Saeko's breast would have to move for the bullet to weave between them in that one scene.
