🕑 Added 2019-01-07 19:57:15 +0000 UTCPoison Ivy here was one of the earliest characters I drew at Hentai Foundry. In fact it was a commission of her and Harley Quinn together that was one of the first pieces to start gaining me consistent attention there. So I figured it was time for a revisit.
Like many Batman characters, my introduction to Ivy came with the Bruce Timm version in the 90's animated series. And I think her intro was pretty brilliant, looking back. Pamela here was introduced simply as Harvey Dent's doting new girlfriend, and with no prior knowledge of the character, I actually found it to be a cool twist that she was a psycho trying to kill him with poison kisses. I haven't kept up with modern versions of the character so well. All I ever hear about know is the lesbian relationship she sometimes has with Harley, which gets high fives all around if you ask me.

Glad you like it! I got this particular suit/hairstyle from a pin up by Artgerm. Which the chat on my Discord channel leads me to believe that this is his version of her? Not sure. I just thought this was one of her many official costumes he was presenting.

I preferred the Batman: TAS version, where she was a femme fatale, but more of an evil botanist who used Plant Minions rather than something like a super-powered Elementalist.

Nice drawing! The old one was funny, but your new style is SO much better than your old one, in my opinion. The proportions are better, the expressions superior, etc. You've really upped your game.

I always liked Poison Ivy. I first meet the character on the movie Batman and Robin, witch Umma Thurman. Back in the day i liked a lot the movie, i was just a child haha... Then, when i started reading comics and all that stuff, it became one of my favorte female characters alongside with Killer Frost and Livewire. BTW, love that you kept the leaves suit!

Yeah I suppose in the animated series she was just a mad scientist with a plant fetish, but some iterations I've heard of make her sound a lot more supernatural.

Always liked Pam as a character, especially in the silver age /what TAS shows her as during the beginning, a fem fatale who uses poisons and was immune, the super powered side I feel is too all over the place because sometimes she a lesser avatar or the green, other times she's basically just a meta human who is more plant than human with no unity
