Ahhhh okay. AU, say no more. And yeah, she did have shortish hair in the present day for Bennett's run but there were all those flashbacks where she had long hair...for the most part I found Bennett's Batwoman kind of boring, it didn't get REALLY good until like the last two issues.

The long hair was my choice. In the universe where this happens, the rules are different (too much to go into in a comment) and Kate and a lot of other characters grow their hair out and experiment with styles. The ref I gave him is from the backstory of the Marguerite Bennett run, in which she does have long hair.

Hoo boy, I was not ready for this tonight. Scandal Savage is a fun creation of Gail Simone's for Villains United/Secret Six. Daughter of Vandal Savage. Total badass, who last we saw her was in a happy polyamorous lesbian marriage. Kate should probably have short hair, though, being out of costume. The longer red hair is actually a wig that's part of her cowl, a shockingly sensible move to keep her from being recognised. Batwoman has longer, darker red hair than her secret identity.
