TRW Strips #049
🕑 Added 2021-04-19 14:52:42 +0000 UTCWhen I came up with these strips the intent was to make them 100% detached from the main story. And while they largely have been, a few TRW firsts have crept in since I started. Case in point: this is not only the first time Luka has been shown with clothes on, but also the first time she and Elianna have interacted directly.
It's yet to be shown in the game or comic, but I picture every major business in Castlewood having the Valette name attached to it. Elianna's father is the face of the empire, while her mother is the brains behind him. I liked the idea of Elianna starring in a series of vaguely sexually demeaning commercials for various Valette owned businesses, but never came up with anything particularly clever. I'm all ears if you guys have any ideas to share. Speaking of which I've got a few questions to pull from for Luka here in the future, but I could always use more if you have any.

The thing is, its not even public sex Elianna wants to end. It feels like she wants to end sex in general. The sex at the school isn't happening openly. It's behind closed doors. The fact that everyone kind of knows isn't the same as 'public'. Or maybe her problem is perverse hedonism. Not the sex itself, but the frequency of it, the taboos being broken. Which, given her family... understandable.

Fun fact: Elianna's name was Victoria initially, but I changed it at the last second because I thought it sounded too much like Archie'sVeronica, who she was kind of similar enough to already. I did end up using that name though, see this week's TRW page for that! :)

I've certainly been guilty of obliviously increasing breast size with my characters over time, but I swear that's not the case here. This strip version of Luka is a straight up paint-over of her first appearance from the comic and I didn't touch her chest size at all. I think it's just the dress that makes her look bigger. XD

Maybe I'm just misremembering, but Luka seems considerably more 'endowed than I remember. I would not consider this a negative development.
