The full story of Shiro at the party is interesting, and yeah, I can imagine it would be tough to avoid those without people suspecting something. And Miss Holt being a bit nervous because of the age of those women is a relatable insecurity thing, even though she clearly is the most magnificent creature ever put to form. I do like his sass-mouth, though. It gives him a tiny bit of "edge" so he's not just some subordinate. It honestly makes him come off as more clever and charming than any of your other male characters. Like, this is kinda how male characters are in stories written by women.
