I suppose I could have easily ended this scene with the previous page, but to me, this scene wasn't just about showcasing Nadine's relationship with Shiro, but her friendship with Max as well. I felt I had to bring these two together at the end.
I'm hoping that comes through clearly here. I have some concern that in those two panels where her attitude softens, readers might think that Nadine's just putting on an act for a boss she can't stand. Obviously that's not what I want. I want to show that she likes this guy and wants to look out for him, even if he drives her crazy. I'd appreciate any feedback you can give me, for this page, the scene overall, or even what you'd like to see next from the characters featured here.

I agree...I can see the Nurse overwhelming him to the point that he just said "Yes" to her employment as he didn't know what else to say. After all, he didn't go straight to the Nurse for his hangnail, which I think he would have, if he hired her for sex exclusively. Can't wait to see more of the Nurse in the current chapter, though!

Yes, I think the expression tweak does work. But I really would like some follow-up scenes with them, showing them be friends. Maybe to keep it on theme, they're having a conversation nearby others having secret sex.

You know, the more I think about it, I think that should be a case of Jane being Jane. He's just as horny as anyone else in the cast, the Nurse is walking proof of that. But after this chapter especially, the idea of him screwing students just doesn't sit right with me.

I have a question, possibly best answered in the form of a strip. In the beach scene of the TRW game, Jane says she regularly has sex with Redcliff. Was she telling the truth, or was it just Jane being Jane? He seems like a sweet oblivious teddy bear the more we get to know him, so if she's telling the truth it would be interesting to know how that arrangement came about 🙂

Yeah, based on going back to Strips #36, it feels like they have more of an antagonistic relationship than a friendly one. I feel like if you want to sell that they are actually friends, I'd need to see more. How do you manage to be friends with someone that doesn't respect your opinion? And as far as what I'd like to see next... I mean, there's a lot of possibilities. But most of all, I'd like to see more development of Jane beyond being an instigator. Or alternatively, more from Elianna's household. Parents, maids, and her.

I will say that I wasn't sure, in my mind, whether or not she was putting on an act. The second expression is compelling, but man that first death glare... I needed your follow up text to be sure. I'm not sure how one would fix it though. And maybe its just me. An extra transition panel maybe, but you're low on space. Perhaps if that first silent reaction was more frustrated or exhausted... I guess I just hadn't gotten the impression that they actually had a good relationship beforehand.

Fantastic chapter... one of my faves you've done so far! As far as future ideas for the characters featured: 1) Isaac / Parker: Definitely a deep dive into how Chloe takes their new relationship... maybe in between, they participate in a swing party or two. 2) Morgan: Hopefully the next time we see her, she has full on sex w/ a guy, whoever that turns out to be. Wouldn't mind seeing some pinups of her trying more sexual experiments (blowbang maybe?). 3) Shiro / Ms. Holt: Someway, somehow... cosplay sex w/ these two 😎. And maybe a date night at Ms. Holt's house.
