This Romantic World Page 148 and Game Status Update
🕑 Added 2020-08-16 02:48:30 +0000 UTCBit of a good news bad news scenario here. The bad news is that the game is running later than I predicted it would by far this month. The delay is on the programming side of things at the moment. We wanted to implement a new mechanic where characters have little notifications over their heads when they have new dialog unlocked. Unfortunately reworking so much existing code has proven more time consuming than we thought, but I think it will be worth it. Nobody likes having to constantly click on the characters just to see if they have something new to say, so I really want this feature in the next build. I'll keep you all posted on where we're at throughout the week, Kal is working on it as fast as he can and we're getting close.
So what's the good news? Since the game issue is on the programming end of things, it means I'm currently free to spend more time on the comic. So it's bonus page time once again! Hope you guys like how it came out and are having a good weekend. :)

I don't want to get too predictable as to when sex will happen and when it won't in any given scene. But i can say that I would never have several pages of build up like I have here and not deliver something lewd. XD

I was a little worried there would be no sex this chapter (not really, and I understand.. character development, etc). Nice to see them getting together, esp after all the obstacles in their way.

That's nice, but I was thinking of something outside of a gallery mode. Where you could go to some of the characters and trigger a short repeatable scene, in short of sandbox fashion. Just something to pass the ingame time when there's nothing else for that day.

That's awesome news about the feature you're implementing in the next build! I loved playing and replaying the current build after I downloaded it, since it was the first build I had access to, but it was definitely a tedious playthrough when I just made an effort to prevent progressing the game as long as possible, finding every dialog I could. On the one hand, I can see why Casey would be hesitant. Now that Abbey's going to get some, she's definitely going to go into full on, possessive, yandere, psychotic girlfriend mode. ... On the other hand, I doubt I can turn down a hot, nekkid red head either. Her hands are (probably going to be) tied.
