How Abbey's Dad Immediately Died

I think it might be simultaneously too zany and too dark for the tone of TRW. But I got such a reaction from readers about the hippo thing on the last page that this was something I had to draw just for fun.

More importantly, you deserve endless accolades for rendering Abbey's dad in such a way that it's sensible for her body type to contrast with her thicc mom, especially consdering Tanner's first and probably last appearance is this five-panel joke page. What's the equivalent of the Eisner award for porn? Zimmerman? You should get one of those.

Actually, i think that hippos are oficially the deadliest large animals in africa. So if anybody thinks that hippo was just moreless random choice, just aiming at to be funny, i highly doubt it. :)

Notwithstanding the ridiculous situation, let's take a minute to appreciate Tanner's design. Abbey is smol + slender, but her mom is a shortstack MILF. Where did she get her build from? Tanner's muscles are prominent here because he has a tank top on, but they'd easily vanish beneath a button-up shirt. He has a naturally thin build himself. He has been working on those muscles his whole life for the sake of his greatest dream: defeating a hippopotamus in a fist fight.
