Yeah. It's not as if you have 3d models you can just line up in front of a chart. You have to make the entire thing from scratch. Maybe you could just add one character at a time when you feel like it, and eventually it'll be complete.

I've tried to get through one of those in the past, and I never make it. I just get bored and have an overwhelming urge to work on something that has a deadline looming instead. But never say never, I'll have much more time to work with when the game is complete.

I fall into this trap, of course. I often think movies aren't as good as they used to be. But I think I should also try and step outside myself and recognize that a lot of my perception probably has to do with nostalgia, and that I saw these old movies at a time in my life when I was 100% more susceptible to being blown away by my entertainment choices and had zero cynical baggage weighing down the fun. It's entirely possible that modern movies are objectively better in every way, and I'm just incapable of perceiving this truth at my age. XD

Well while not automatically, they usually are. Old movies just had fun. No need to pander or anything, good clean fun imo. Generally the older movies are better than the newer remakes or sequels except probably Top Gun: Maverick. Same applies to games. Entertainment should focus on entertaining people rather than trying to send a message.
