Rein Con: Casey
🕑 Added 2021-07-06 04:34:28 +0000 UTCRein Con 2021 is underway! For the month of July, two TRW characters per week will show off four costumes each that were suggested by supporters. This one will actually be split into two parts, as I seriously underestimated how much work this would be and I'm supposed to be on vacation lol. Meanwhile I'd like to thank Siren Sleeps for the lovely background art!
PS: Abbey is about to crash Casey's shoot, and she has matching themed costumes in mind. (Though one pick will NOT match, and can be anything.) Let me know if you have suggestions!

Costumes: Power Girl, White Queen, Bubbles, Handprint Bikini Sable
When Casey heard about the costume contest with a five thousand dollar prize, she knew she was about to be handed free money. She was born with everything she'd need to win any contest based on looks. She'd wear something slutty, add a cape, say she's Captain Whoever, and sit back and let the nerds shower her with cash.
That was the plan until Bria casually mentioned she just might be entering the contest as well. This was cause for concern. Bria was the only competitor that Casey considered hot enough to be a threat to her payday. Casey grudgingly concluded that she was going to have to put in some effort here. Looking sexy wouldn't be enough to beat Bria. She'd have to wear specific costumes these nerds would be into, but she didn't know the first thing about any of that crap!
Luckily, she knew just where to turn. She texted her teenage cousin with her situation, and he flooded her inbox with several costume suggestions within minutes, begging for pictures as compensation. Easy. As far as Casey was concerned, this thing was already won.
She was just about to pose for the cameras when she heard a familiar squeaky voice calling her name.

Well despite numerous suggestions for Harley, I couldn't bring myself to do it since I just drew her a month ago. I even gave her bigger than normal breasts on that one, so the visual difference between her and Casey would have been pretty much negligible. I hope the new costumes from here on out suit you better! :)

I hadn't heard of it, but it's the infamous handprint bikini worn by Sable during the attitude era in the 90's of WWE.

Part of me does think it was a mistake to have the characters not exactly pick costumes that fit their personalities from the get-go, as Casey doesn't know anything about this stuff and Abbey is just trying to match her. I plan on fixing that with the girls from here on out.

Part of my thought is: how much is 'doesnt match'? If Abbey shows up as still a wrestler, just from the wrong era, is that a mismatch or a close enough? For Sable, maybe Chyna's stars and stripes outfit? For Supergirl, Witchblade. And for Bubbles, Rule 63 Tuxedo Mask!

LOL, Sable's hand-bra! I recognized it immediately! Yeah, that's how you win a slut-off for sure. I can only assume Rein-Cons are gonna be one by the sluttiest chick. And yeah, Power Girl looks so much like Casey anyways that cosplay always feels "automatic", lol. (though it occurs to me that Miss Holt also digs costumes and she should automatically be the winner or I will declare this non-canon :P)
