A TRW Scheduling Shake Up
🕑 Added 2021-08-26 23:29:43 +0000 UTCHey guys, the short version is that I seriously need to take two days off from work in a row, effective immediately. Today's TRW will be pushed to next week, and there will be two pages next Thursday instead of the usual single page.
So what happened? A lot of stuff, actually. Ever feel like you're just screaming "Why won't you do what I want!?" to your PC, and it just smugly replies "Because, fool, you have yet to solve my riddle!" If you've been around awhile you know that technical issues are nothing new to me, but this week has been record-setting in that regard. Just an endless gauntlet of forum-diving, trial and error, and installing new fixes that only take like nine hours a piece to download because my internet is so maddeningly slow, and anyway you get the idea.
Basically I'm currently wound tight enough to snap, anything I draw today will be tinged with impotent rage, and that's not the kind of artwork I want to share with the world. I just need to unplug for a couple of days. The other upcoming updates like the Monday strip will still be posted on schedule, so all that's really changed is that today's TRW page is being moved and doubled up with next week's page.
Thank you for your understanding. I assure you I'm fine, or at least I will be, and will be back at it 100% by Sunday.

Ouch- that sucks. I've been lucky enough to have only a handful of issues in that regard, but my PC is probably on life support (pretty old; no CPU fan and often gets too hot, even with a room fan pointed at it) and I've lost a lot of stuff before, so I can empathize. I can wait however long for updates (I barely remember what happens on what day anymore, lol)
