Yeah you're probably right. I try to make everything easy for newcomers to jump in on but with a 300+ page comic and a VN in the rearview that may be increasingly impossible to pull off.

I think it makes sense Elianna would get flustered here. That said though I feel like my "acceptance" meter for Elianna is starting to hit unsafe levels. She's just starting to feel like too much of a buzzkill and fun-spoiler. You may already have this all planned out with the strip club scene (which I'm very excited about). Love the comic regardless but just figured I'd give my two cents.

Well makes perfect sense Chloe knowing exactly how to manipulate everyone as an extra perk of her spying. I think neither Elianna or Millie had a chance here, even being probably the two smartest characters.

I'm kind of concerned that students will skip class to take showers. Like, I expect them to skip class to have sex in the janitor's closet, but just to take a shower? It's not like Chloe was *expecting* Millie to show up; that wasn't planned. She was just taking a random ass shower. I'm starting to see where Ellie is coming from.

These short stories are fun, as far as who I would like to see in this format, I would love to see more Kaidan. Or even a check in for my boy Isaac.

I don't think Elianna comes off as dumb. She just has buttons that a lot of her classmates know how to push. They know true love talk flusters her. Just like Derek was able to point out that a weakness in her presentations is that she's always talking down to people. She's not trying to win people over, so much as telling them they're stupid, and so should do what she says. Like you say, int vs wisdom. ;)

I think at a glance she can come across a little dumb/gullible but that's only in a total vacuum. Anyone who's familiar with her beyond this mini story arc almost certainly won't see it that way. This is probably one of those situations where you just have to trust in older content and people's willingness to remember stuff. Or to go back and reread it if they don't. At a certain point it's probably not worth worrying about how every single person might perceive things. Especially for a pretty well established character like Elianna.

Elianna can be smart, and even wise/savvy, and still have blindspots. Kryptonite, even. This moment feels entirely belivable. Consistent. Given her love of anime, how can she not be weak to intense romantic display or exhortation. Even aroused by it, making her further uncomfortable and unable to reason.

I mean to me feels like chole is more like exploiting Elianna’s personal weakness. Like a personal example for me would be to get me on a nerd rage by disrepresenting something fundamentally simple even if I know the person is doing it on purpose or if someone tries to flash thier breasts at me I’d ethier get distracted or turn away in a panic. I think it’s one of Elianna’s cuter traits
