I'm wondering how to handle these strips with my new, less frequent output schedule. My plan was to alternate between a strip or a pin up every two weeks, but a whole month feels like a long time to wait between pages for a sequential story. I'm thinking I might just keep doing strips until the story ends, then do pin ups for awhile in between before starting another one. With my extra time I should be able to start doing occasional commissions again here soon. They're much less stressful than Monday pin ups because I don't have to bust them out in a day and a half. Maybe commissions could help fill the pin up void around here during strip stories? Let me know if you have any suggestions.
As for the strip itself: It's been awhile since I played D&D or any of its obscure competitors in the tabletop role-playing landscape. But I don't think I've ever made a seduction attempt myself. Possibly because I would tend to play dopey or unsexy characters because they amuse me the most. I was often an especially dumb orc or an old alchemist with cat allergies or something like that.
In any case it's good to be back! Hope you like the strip!

I avoided the characters saying "D&D" so I could bend the rules, but regular goblin is more what she looks like, and the only reason she was a hobgoblin in Isaac's Adventures was to reference when Isaac called her that in the VN.

I want to say two things. First, I love this strip and these characters and your art and seeing everybody doing "Totally Not D&D, yo". Secondly, as someone who plays D&D, my inner pedant requires me to point out that, in D&D lore, "hobgoblins" are the disciplined, fighty meatboys of the goblin family. Female hobgoblins would be muscle mommies, as opposed to the thirsty blue slutbombs we see here. Also, Morgan's boobies are pretty.

Best example of that I heard was DM telling someone that their Nat 20 on a roll to seduce an orc warlord meant she was giving them an opportunity to remove their hand from her leg without breaking their arms.

A rule that often gets lost in memery around D&D - A natural 20 on a Skill Check isn't an automatic success! Nat 20 = Crits only applies to attacks and saves. Also, with charisma checks (and other skill checks), the limits are set by what could be accomplished. Going "I roll to seduce" won't work if the DM goes "Yeah they're not interested and no amount of sweet-talking can change that"

I always loved your strips. So I'd have no problem if you did strips for a while. But if you get bored a draw a pinup, nobody here would complain. Also hoping Morgan rolls a nat 20 on this.
